Dave Campo: A symbol of all that is wrong with the Cowboys, i.e. Jerry Jones.

Campo is a bum glad Tnew shoved the obese midget.

Wow, nevermind the fact that both Jerry Jones and Campo were part of Super Bowl runs with this franchise. I guess that is wrong too.

Campo is still an assistant coach on this team, and if I were in charge, I would send Newman to the showers and out of the stadium immediately after the altercation.

Newman has sucked for quite some time, and teams are licking their chops to attack him in 3rd and long situations.

Newman is everything that is wrong with this team. Not Campo and Jones.

And THAT is why you aren't in control of a MONEY run business.

I'm pretty sure players get benched for a quarter, a half or a game quite a bit for insubordination.

I believe Mike Tomlin benched Santonio Holmes for conduct detrimental to the team.

The bottom line is either the Coaches run the show or the players do.

Newman played a great game.

The Cowboys won 7-6.

All three CBs played great.

Newman took care of his side of the field.

Things got a little heated in the moment.

It happens to all teams.

Some of you guys are reaching.

Also, a coach needs to understand that in the heat of the game, he should use his words correctly.

How the heck do you know what Campo said? With your mind-reading powers you should be on "Heroes."

That's what I'm saying. To ignore this incident will just be more problems down the road and value be damned, he should be punished. Obviously money is no object to people who have tons of it, so they'd better figure something out.

I have never seen a player shove his coach before. Maybe you can provide some NFL examples of this. It doesn't even have to be the Cowboys. Give some examples of this happening to all teams, because I have never seen anything like it.

Everyone has an opinion...but geesh. I'm glad we don't have to ever spend 2 seconds in the same room.

That is some funny **** you're talking there dude. Perhaps Newman needs to grow some jewels and take criticism like a man.

Has anyone heard what happened? I for one am glad to see Campo get in his face. We need more of that. Now if someone would do that to the offense.
I was glad to see someone at least showing they care about whats going on during the game enough to call people out. I saw some contact but not enough to bench Newman, It was a far cry from the recievers coach quietly listening to his recievers excuses for not getting open and not holding on to the ball when it hit their hands.

Newman should not start against Oakland. Sit him the first half. Dallas can probably afford the loss of his services in that game & it sends a strong message to the team.

I thought Newman pushed Campo as well and that the players and coaches on the sideline had to keep them separated.

I also saw where after the altercation, Newman was sititng on the sidelines and Campo was "animatedly" showing them the field images.

I don't think he'll be benched, but I could see him being fined.

Bryant got cut for throwing a jersey

The point is that he disrespected his coach. If (and I haven't seen it), in fact, Newman did as people are saying, Jerry/Wade must take some action, even if it means benching him for the game.
