Maybe Campo should order the CBs to cover tight instead of 10 yds off and maybe the CBs would not be pissed with him.

alot of people gripe about this. but aikman said it best. with the rules the nfl has no its hard to do that. the nfl wants points. thanks to peyton manning crying after that patriots game in the afc championship game. that was the day im my eyes that defense was thrown out the door in the nfl

BS

Campo is the only one showing some passion.

He has seen this franchise enter a spiral before and he can sense we are teering on falling in again.

Is he great with the coverages etc, no, but he dman sure isn't as much a problem as the guys to his left and right in the headsets.

Dave Campo: A symbol of all that is wrong with the Cowboys, i.e. Jerry Jones.

Has anyone heard what happened? I for one am glad to see Campo get in his face. We need more of that. Now if someone would do that to the offense.

Funny... i said the exact same thing when I saw it happening...

Wrong. What is wrong is if nothing happens to Newman over this. Campo was doing his job by yelling at a player for not doing his job. everyone on this board is always asking for someone to show some emotion from the coaches and this is what happens when they do? That was a huge play that changed field position and if he screwed up he needs his *** chewed on. If Newman can't handle that then he needs to be shipped out of here ASAP.

I don't disagree with you. But I crack up when anyone mentions Dave Campo. The only reason he is here is Jerry got sentimental.......

I missed this supposed shove as well. I saw Campo in his face, and then they were separated, and then Campo flipped a bit and took his headphones off. At that point he wasn't anywhere close enough to be pushed by Newman.

When was the shove?

It came before all of that and, as someone above (Boyzmamacita I think) pointed out, FOX for whatever reason didn't get around to replaying or talking about the original shove.

Handle it in house.

We don't need the media involved.

Afterwards, have Newman and Campo shake on it and move on.

Also, I doubt if Newman will be with the Cowboys next year. If the Cowboys can draft someone, I look for Newman to get dumped. He was never that good anyway and now he has lost a step, is old, and undisciplined.

Good riddance.

BS. He's a good defensive coach and deserves as much credit as anyone for our improved secondary play and the development on Scandrick and Jenkins.

The Newman push was way out of line and it was nice to see that Campo didn't back down.

The fact that people are putting their faith in 5-11 Campo as the heart of our coaching staff says all that needs to be said about the coaching staff.

Jenkins should be our star CB over newman.
But Jenkins can get hurt easy.

As troy aikman quoted Deion today. Tackling is a business decision

If this is meant to incriminate Newman, it doesn't.

Reference Campo with the guy behind them, you can tell that Campo never goes backwards at all, like he would had he been pushed. His body stays directly in front of the guy behind him in all of these pictures.

I'm not condoning a player shoving a coach, but it doesn't appear in those pictures that Campo was shoved at all.

But I am not surprised that an NFL caliber athlete has trouble respecting a guy like Campo.

Campo needs to coach his players, and not get in a guys face like he is some bad ***. He appears to have "little mans disease" when he acts like that.

So you are going to look at the photo sequence that CLEARLY and beyond any shadow of a doubt shows Newman shoving Campo, and then claim reality is something totally different? Drop the agenda and be honest.
