Both were beaten tonight HUGH difference. Lelie TD Vick had about 8 seconds to throw the ball. Hall gives up 2 including that bomb no doubt he gets in (ProBowl) before Hall

Im not a huge DHall fan [hes the Keyshawn of dbs} but the 1st td was all TeeO and Romo, you couldnt cover that any better than Hall did.

Newman was covering the man, but give Vick credit, the pass was perfect.

Still, Newman had the most important stop by a CB, he was the one defending Alge Crumpler in crunch time on that 4th down play. That was a critical stop and he did his job.

Hall, otoh, lost his cool by the end of the 3rd quarter. Spat on or no, he's a substantial part of the reason Atlanta lost.

Newman got burned on another TD, but the penalty saved him.

You can't really blame either Hall or Newman for those(you know the ones.) Those were a combination of good passes/good protection/and good catches. I think Newman though is the better corner, but because he doesn't compile the stats like Hall does and isn't as vocal, we all know if you're a ******* you automatically get pro bowl attention.

Can't blame TNew on the TD he gave up. Vick had all darn night to stand there and made a perfect throw into a small window. Under that circumstance it is to much to ask any CB to succeed.

Same with Hall on the first T.O. touchdown. The other one was all on Hall. Newman has had a great season. Clearly one of the best CBs in the NFL.

On one of TO's touchdowns on Hall, TO basically overpowered him in the end zone. On the second, TO ran right by him. Hall likes to think of himself as the second coming of Deion, but I don't remember anyone ever running past Deion, let alone for a score...Hall is overrated. Period....
