Next 2 games are critical for Cowboys season

The Jets and Panthers are arguably our most winnable games this season albeit on the road.

We win both of these and 3-2-1 is looking like season is still on looking ahead to Bye .

And Wash isn’t looking quite as imposing without Daniels. Anyway I could see us winning 1 of those 3 remaining before Bye.

Who wouldn’t take 4-4-1 at the Bye?

I know . The schedule is brutal after the Bye and it could still collapse at anytime. But the longer we hover around .500 the longer we stay in the hunt or at least keep season interesting.

And hopefully keep Jethro from making any desperate trades trying to keep season from collapsing wasting those valuable draft picks.
I'd say Jerry is more likely to trade for talent if we win those games than if we lose them. But who am I kidding? I can't pretend to know what goes on in that head of his.

Rumors are swirling in Dallas that Jethro’s pursuing Hendrickson in Cincy.

Great talent, no doubt. But 31 years old and you'd probably have to give up a first to get him. Plus, he's a free agent after this season, right? That would be stupid imo, so, yeah, I could see him doing it.

Remember, Jerry has a for sale sign on his draft picks. I am 100% confident that he will receive calls from a few bottom-feeding teams before the trading deadline, knowing their playoff hopes are already dashed. Not saying he will make a trade, but will definitely get a few offers.
Well, there’s rumors swirling in Dallas he’s entertaining talks for Hendrickson.

This game is reminding me of the game we played against the Jets when they were 0-4 and Adam Gase was their coach. When we were carved up by the QB seeing ghosts. So anything is possible.

I think our offense will be better this time around. Lets give the Jets their first 0-5 start.

I pray to god it's true........
Anyone following my posts knows I have been screaming for this since Micah's trade. Hell, at first, I was willing to give up GB's 1st but lately I'm hearing the value has dropped to as low as a 3rd.

Trade a 2027 3rd and Diggs and give him a new deal $35M range ( still $12M less than Micah). No brainer IMO.........get it done, Jerry!

At what price? Both to get him and to keep him. But our D has to play better behind him. Or it's pointless.
It will.....don't you worry about that (lol). You now have a replacement for Micah that OCs and QBs have to game plan and account for on every snap. A bonus.....he's one of the league's top edge run defenders. Hell, I don't have to sell him......look it up (lol)

Well, here is my thread.......mod moved to the Roster zone (LOL)

Given all of the injuries, split these next 2 and hope you get some starters back for the Commanders game.

I agree. This is the obvious choice. But at what price? What do we give to get him? Then when we get him, what do we pay him? I can see a 3 year deal with an out after 2, but for how much? It's complicated. We don't want to give up a first round pick for a one year rental.

Right. And they'd pay him, but not Parsons? But, what am I saying? It's Jerry.

If we could beat Wash then these 2 possibly aren’t as must wins .

I’d say must be at least 4-4-1 at the bye however that comes . 5-3-1 would be ideal.

Wash and Az might be more winnable than originally thought.

I definitely don't see a 1st ..........no team is giving that

This..........but several team fans want him, 49ers ( real bad), Colts, Pats, Eagles

I’m on record as a huge critic of Jethro but if we could pick up Hendrickson for less than a 1st round pick, I’m interested.
That's the difference between you and I. I get the fact that adjustments made by the team can help our chances of winning, but with Jethro at the helm, I have little doubt that unless we have a strong coach who is actually captain of the ship (whose last name isn't Jones), sooner or later Jethro is going to go to Elly May to look for advice only wanting Elly May to verify what Jethro is thinking ;)

Without a change in leadership running the organization, you really think this organization is going to make a run to win the Super Bowl?

If there are half a dozen teams that want him, you never know how far they'll go to get him. Someone has to beat the rest out.
