Buffalo Bills 1990's HOF members:

Thurman Thomas
Bruce Smith(1st ballot)
Jim Kelly(1st ballot)
Ralph Wilson
Marv Levy

Dallas Cowboys 1990's HOF members:

Troy Aikman(1st ballot)
Michael Irvin

We blew the doors off of these suckers twice in the Super Bowl and this is all we can get so far. I know Emmitt will be in next year which makes it 3 for us. Larry Allen will make it 4 in a few years but Jerry Jones will he get in? Jimmy Johnson? Darren Woodson? Charles Haley? Deion Sanders, will he primarily be a Cowboy going in? I just though about this today and it pisses me off.

Haley and Jimmy are the only ones eligable on that list. Well maybe Woodson also.

Woodson's 1st year of eligibility was this year.

I am really trying to figure out how Marv Levy got in so fast. This guy got in before some coaches that have won Super Bowls. They treated this guy like he was one of the best coaches ever. He should be in there but not that fast.

He did have success with other teams not just Buffalo.

He's like 200 years old. They probably wanted to get him in before he croaks.....

Larry Allen, Emmitt, Haley will all get in at some point.

I'm glad you brought up Woodson Yeager, the guy was one of the best. If not for being on some bad teams towards the end he would have gone to 3 or 4 more pro bowls IMO.

Unfortunately I think that Cowboys fans are the only ones who realize his true value.

I have no problem with it. That is all the bills that will get in. Andre reed will be a bubble guy.

There will be more 90s cowboys going in.

and I dont see anything wrong with it at all. I happen to think each and everyone one of those bills were deserving. That was an amazing team.

I do have a problem with guys like warren moon getting in on the first ballot, I will never understand that.

The triplets plus LA for sure. Haley should as well someday. So should Woody but I doubt he will make it. Deion of course. Of course Jerruh will get in one day so that matches Wilson. I really do not think Jimmy will get in.

Is Jimmy in the college hall?

The Bills of that era were one of the most consistent teams year in and year out. Unfortunately for them they played in the era of total NFC dominance. No problem here with any of those guys getting in. James Lofton is in the Hall also isn't he?

Why should it piss you off?

Emmitt had a longer career.
Haley was a certifiable lunatic, not to mention a pervert. His locker room antics were legendary. He'll get in later, but not now.
Jerry Jones will get in. He has done much to shape the league particularly with the new (now old) television deal and personal licensing, not to mention being the owner of the team of the decade. But he's been in the league fewer years than Wilson.
Jimmy Johnson should be in, but Marv Levy was a longstanding coach before the Bills. And what he did taking the Bills to four straight Super Bowls, albeit losses, is amazing.

I don't see anything wrong about the "perceived" slight. This isn't a Bills vs. Cowboys issue. It's, rather, whose individual contributions were more impressive and who is eligible for the Hall.

The Cowboys will outpace the Bills eventually with Emmitt, Deion and Larry Allen first ballot shoe-ins and Haley, Woodson, Jimmy Johnson and Jerry Jones likely to get in later.

No, it doesn't bother me because the 90's Bills were a great team that had great talent. All it does is ratify just how good our team really was that we beat them like we did.

He had the cancer sympathy vote. Many worried that he wouldn't be around to see it. It was a good move under the circumstances.

Ralf Wilson in over Shannon Sharpe is a disgrace in my opinion.

Charles Haley was one of the most feared pass rushers to ever play the game and was a pivotal piece on 5 SB teams, it irks me off he doesnt get the respect he deserves. Regardless of who he showed what the guy was a beast on Sunday's and deserves his due.

Smith will make the HOF, hands down.

Of all of those listed, Smith will go first.
