They already know what Greir can do. Will it really help. PS games are not planned to win.
However, to get a better evaluation of the WR's on the bubble. Grier will be better than Milton.
But they pretty much know already what the roster will be. Except some far down the list back ups and if they can play ST's.

They do need to look at the waiver wire at available QB's come cut down time. I think that is on the 26th.

Another QB would have to come from another team........NO avail free agent QBs out there.

I agree. Milton is robbing them of opportunity to evaluate other players. This last game is the last chance the get before having to cut down to the final 53. The offense was on the field for only 47 plays last night. They have RBs, and WRs to evaluate and they simply are not getting enough chances to show what they can do. The same thing goes for shifting the OL all over the place. Not enough time to get comfortable and to work together as a unit. Set your starting 5, backups and 3rd string and play them as units to build cohesion.

Agreed. We know Milton is got ways to go and if injuries happen which they often do then we have to know what he is got

It just tells you where we are. Grier is 30 and is the definition of a triple A baseball player. To think we may need him as a backup tells you how bad their preparation and evaluation are.

Starting Grier in any preseason game sends the message to Milton that the team has given up on him. He's in need of the most experience in live action QB'ing so the decision to not give him that opportunity definitely is a bad message to Milton. Milton needs to develop.

Seriously, there are no other QBs to bring in at this point for competition. Dallas has its 3 and just like every year the plan is Dak doesn't get hurt for too many games.

I would rather see QB1 play at least a full quarter so he doesn't look like a rusty gate on Sept 4.

If Dak goes down any hope for the playoffs or Super Bowl is over. The same can be said for most other teams in the NFL. All this complaining over the backup QB is wild. Did you really expect Milton to go out there, with back ups at most positions, and ball out? I swear some of you have never watched football before.

Ladies and gentlemen can you say "POST OF THE MORNING!" Seems like it takes us a while every season on offense to get the rust off, while other teams on offense can muster up an offense and move the ball down the field to start the season
