Not to throw away what the Cowboys have done and accomplished last week but SD always has our number and Denver in two weeks?

Things could be VERY interesting if Dallas pulls both out.

I like our chances at SD, although nobody will play us defensively like Fisher did, you'll see 7-8 in the box and force us to throw to win.

SD will be a toughie. They all are actually.

We can definitely score on these guys. The key once again is pressure pressure pressure.

Both Rivers and Romo have played pretty mistake-free football this year. Something has to give this week and I think it will be our defense getting all over Rivers and forcing mistakes.

I see a tight game in the 20s with us making enough big plays to pull it out 27-20

I think San Diego is like the Rams. We can crush them if we play like we are supposed to play but if we let up...... The Bronco's on the other hand, just wow! Peyton is having his best start ever. We must get pressure with 4 because if we blitz he will kill us. He is the best ever to recognize and burn you on the blitz. That will be our hardest test all season and well...if we can beat them then we truly are a contender. Go boyz.

Broncos defense looks bad to me.

Just like Quinn, run right at freeney and dictate the pace of the game.

I think we have an enormous advantage when we get them in nickel, of course if Austin doesn't play that changes things.

as far as the broncos go, we have had a ton of success against John fox, we actually own the guy.
Beat him in 03,05,06,07,09.

And we have beat manning the previous two times we played them, romo beat them when they were 11-0 and probably come in here 4-0.

On the flip side I don't think we have beat Denver since the 90's.

If we beat San Diego this week, next weeks game will have the feel of the 07 patriots game here.

I expect the atmosphere at the stadium to be spectacular.

They are built to play with a lead and generate turnovers.

If you are in passing situations the entire game the Bronco's D will eat you up.

To me, those stats are completely useless. Fox was with a horrible Carolina team for most of those wins, and the two wins vs. Manning were while we ran a 3-4 defense that got a TD in each game.

I think we can beat the Broncs, I just dont think those trends are indicative of anything.

I wouldn't dismiss the Chargers, watched all three of their games and their 1-2 record isn't representative of their play..should really be 3-0...hopefully Dallas will carry their solid play from last week to this week in San Diego and be aggressive in the red zone and not play conservative...

Then why did everyone make a big deal out of Andy Reid's record against us?

I actually thought about you while re-watching the Rams game on Sunday, theebs. Not in an internet-creepy way, but just that you were probably pleased by the home team support in Dallas this week.

That DEN team looks awesome, but it'd be interesting to see how different they look if they're not playing with a big lead the whole time. We've scored on all three opening drives this season. Here's to hoping we keep that roll going the next two weeks and give it our best shot.

I think you mean SD? That's where Freeney is, anyway.

Edit:Ah, I see you corrected it.

I agree that their defense doesn't look so hot, but their offense is capable of playing really well.

You tell me...I think that was way overblown as well.

Though at least Reid has an entire system that he brought to KC. I dont think you could say the same about Fox

I think it's generally overblown. In Reid's case, it's a bit of an advantage because the other NFCE teams didn't change all that much, and he's got completely new personnel and a new defensive front. He still knows how to attack the NFCE defenses (except DAL's 'new' one), and the other teams didn't have much familiarity with the KC team. How it applies against a coach you only play once every 3-4 seasons is less of a factor.

Either way, though, DEN is a beatable team. We need to cover well and get pressure on him. We're going to need picks to win it, probably, so our rookie S better be up to speed quickly.
