I did a review of the updated rosters in the NFC East, and though I thought the offensive personnel would be impressive, I still underestimated it.

If Martin comes into form, the Cowboys OL will be at least on a par with the Eagles. I still believe Chip Kelly got a little arrogant by getting rid of his one real playmaking receiver.

In 2013, the Cowboys putrid defense actually did OK against the Commanders and the Eagles. Gave up 39 points total to Commanders and 27 points total to the Eagles. Giants put up 52 points.

Why did the Giants take a WR again? They do realize their OL is still horrible, right?

I'm hardly impressed with the Eagles WR but overall I guess.

Yeah....Two of their 4 best are rookies, so there is some uncertainty there. I think Jordan Mathews may be better than T Williams overall and Josh Huff (who played at Oregon) has great potential. Cooper is already better than Williams, but I think Williams will pass him up this year. Maclin's health is dicey though.

when hakeem nicks left the giants needed another playmaker at wr incase cruz gets injuried. They needed wr help. But randle did play pretty good last year. So idk.

Odell Beckham could be a real star though.

Also, they added a very good Guard in FA (Schwartz) . Like Freddy, Pugh was rookie last year, so he will get better. Their center missed all last year and is back too. That's 32 new starters and a very good 2nd year guy.
I like our line better, of course, but they should be greatly improved.

How is Cooper already better than Williams? Their stats were in the same ballpark last year and Williams did that as a rookie whereas Cooper was in his 4th year. Williams is already better than Cooper IMO.

But I do like Matthews. I think he's going to be a very, very good WR in this league. To do what he did in the SEC as the only real threat at Vandy was impressive.

Well I did say Williams would pass Cooper anyway this year. I thought he was a better overall WR last year when all aspects are considered, but T Will was only a rookie. I don't really care to debate it one way or the other.

I like both rookies.

Philly has good WRs, but I would probably rank them 4th in the division.
Their RBs, Oline, and QB are all also good

I think you meant Williams for our RB not Wilson. And also Leary is gonna be our LG not Bernie. Bernie is our backup now

I was very surprised they did not draft a TE high. To me, that would help Manning out a lot more than another WR. I love Beckham, but they needed more of an intermediate game because the pass pro is so bad for him.

They are splitting snaps at left guard, so it might be up in the air.

I dunno, I guess I'm not all that impressed, really... This division stunk last year and it wasn't completely the fault of the defenses.

Football outsiders DVOA ranked the offenses at NYG 31, Washington 23, Us 11, Philly 3.

I disagree about Randle last year. He was not reliable running routes. Most of Manning's INTs were thrown in his direction.
