Dallas @ NY in December is going to be the biggest game of the year. It will determine our season. They are playing to their defense and are on a roll just like we are.

The winner will win the east and get a bye, the loser is going to get sent to atlanta or detroit or wherever.

Dallas needs to hold serve against baltimore and find a way vs washington. The giants have the bears and browns. so they are headed to 8-3.

The season has been incredible but this perpetual thorn in our side in NY is sitting right there to ruin it all.

I have faith that Eli will find a way to lose a few games...I predict the Browns first win will be against the Giants.

I think three teams come out of the East. The other divisions are a mess.

Yes, and it could be one of the WC from the East, if not both, may have better records than 2 of the other Division winners. Maybe 3, depending on Seattle.

I wonder how Minnesota offense can change if AD can come back. The oline is bad though.

By the way the Giants play the Bears and Browns next so that's 8-3 almost guaranteed. Then they have a tough stretch of steelers, cowboys, eagles and Commanders.

Essentially anybody counting out the Giants is a fool. They are within striking distance.

So a loss to the Ravens would put Dallas at 8-2. A Giants win would put them at 7-3. Check yo math.

Exactly. That's 1 game. That's the lead they have. If they lose 2 games and giants win 2, then Dallas would be behind them because of the tie breaker.

Giants will beat browns and bears but lose to steelers. We most likely beat ravens Washington and Vikings. And even if we lose one of those that December game versus the Giants still wouldn't be for the division.

A one game lead would mean a Dallas loss and a Giants win would tie the teams. That is not the case. This ain't hard but you're wrong and using insults instead of simple addition.

I would imagine a three-game lead (which is apparently what the OP is lamenting we don't have) is pretty rare 9 games into the season in the NFL.

I think maybe you are overhyping the Giants.

How many games can we lose right now and still remain ahead of the giants? That's right, only 1 game.

Then it's a 1 game lead. OP was correct.
Sure, if you completely redefine words to mean what you want them to mean.

A 1-game lead means that if you lose and your opponent wins, you're tied. That is not the case here. I get the argument that it's not really a 2-game lead because the Giants have the tiebreaker. The very least you can call it, though, is a 1-and-a-half game lead.

its possible but they have a good defense and they are on a roll. Momentum means something to me and always has.
But it apparently only means something for one team in the equation. NY is on a roll? Have you seen Dallas' record?

One game difference and we still have the division lead. If we lose two games we are tied but will essentially lose to the Giants due to the tie breaker.
