If we beat the Ravens and Commanders the next two games...I love our chances.

The Giants, and Eagles are playing great....both of those games are at their house.

The Commanders are a lot better than most think. They would have beat us easily if not for a couple overthrown td passes by cousins.

And we have to play Philly the last freaking game of their year at their house.

We also have Tampa Bay, and a suddenly hot Detroit in the mix along the way...We are about to see if we are for real for sure.

My honest opinion is that we definitely go to the playoffs ...but talk of anything else is premature. Now if we draft defensive line and lb next year....we might just have another dynasty on our hands.

I have faith that Eli will find a way to lose a few games...I predict the Browns first win will be against the Giants.
That would be AWESOME! I would get a tattoo on my butt of the Eli dumb face at the end of that one.

I don't know about the tattoo though...

It sucks the NFCE race is so tight but it should keep us sharp finishing up the season. I can remember many times from 2011-2013 when we needed just 1 of the last 2 games to clinch the division so we would rest/surrender the first game then ended up losing both.

it really sucks that we are now 8 and 1 and essentially only have a 1 game lead in the NFC East. Since the Giants hold the tiebreaker it is way too dicey for my taste.
What I like about being 8-1 is we're very relevant in the middle of our season. Last year at this time we were thinking how high would our pick be in the then upcoming draft. Go Cowboys

So a loss to the Ravens would put Dallas at 8-2. A Giants win would put them at 7-3. Check yo math.

check your own. cowboys still have the lead in your scenario, just like he said. only 1 game. if we lose 2 games the giants are in the lead.

cowboys will be considered "safe" at 11-1 at the earliest. giants will be 8-4 or 9-3 at that point and realistically too far behind.

there is just a higher chance of us dropping 1 of the next 2 over the giants dropping 1 of the next 2.

If our defense can just hold up until Church and Mo come back, I think we will be good.

I would be surprised to see Mo again this year. If he does show up, I bet it's for a few series. I hope I'm wrong, but history says he takes longer than expected to return.

Giants will beat browns and bears but lose to steelers. We most likely beat ravens Washington and Vikings. And even if we lose one of those that December game versus the Giants still wouldn't be for the division.

Giants probably won't lose to the Steelers. Pittsburgh is in free fall, losing 4 games in a row and counting.

Eagles are tough, Giants are tough, Commanders are tough. All teams have winning records, and we have issues with all three at home. Now we get to travel

Giants will be 8-4 when we play them next. We need to be 11-1
I hope they are 8-4 when we play them next and not 9-3. We would need the Steelers to beat them and they are very capable of that.. but you never know what Steeler team is going to show up each week.

Yeah I don't think people realize how up in the air this still is. All this talk of the 1 seed and home field is premature.

Bingo. It is just frustrating because we are playing such awesome football and are sitting at 8-1 and yet we are a few losses away from losing the division. At least we are in the drivers seat and control our own destiny.

You guys are playing lights out, period. I seriously doubt you will have anything other than making the playoffs. I am so impressed with Prescott and Elliot, Jones did a bang up job taking a RB in the 1st round, (he was criticized for it. Prescott is playing like a 10 year veteran. We beat you first game, but you have to take into consideration that was the FIRST game, they've settled in now.

However, not to bust anyone's bubble, but if we win out (i't's possible) till we meet you in Dec., and you lose only 1 game (it's possible), then that game should determine who will take the NFC east, or a reasonable facsimile thereof. We would have the tiebreaker.

Don't you love the NFL!

We really need these next 2games. We do that, we should have no problem winning the east.

By the way the Giants play the Bears and Browns next so that's 8-3 almost guaranteed. Then they have a tough stretch of steelers, cowboys, eagles and Commanders.

Essentially anybody counting out the Giants is a fool. They are within striking distance.
I would add the Lions to that. The Giants have played abysmal offenses the last month in a half. The offensive competition steps up after the Browns game.

It's possible. If Ben and Bell are both healthy, the Steelers are good.
