Between Green Bay and Denver, which one isn't a powerhouse?

Also, doubtful the Saints will be scrapping it out in the middle this year.

I'm not sure this schedule is all that much easier than last years had you looked at it when it was released.

In their rankings, probably Green Bay. Probably they list Denver, NE, Baltimore, SF and Atlanta as their big 5.

A year ago at this time, Dallas was supposed to have the 11th toughest schedule in 2012 (based on the opponents' 2011 W-L records)

It ended up being the 5th toughest schedule.

This year, it's supposed to be the 25th toughest schedule, based on 2012 W-L records. Of course, it could end up being nowhere near that...in either direction.

Last year our schedule early on was tough. If we beat the Giants in week one we could easily end up somewhere around 6-2 or 7-1 after the first 8 games. So that's much better than last year. We do have a pretty tough stretch October through November. Going on the road in 4 out of 5 games. The Lions should be a lot better than last year and the Saints will be playoff contenders along with the Giants. And the Vikings were a playoff team last year which leaves our biggest rivals in the Eagles. That game will never be easy on the road. If we make it through that part of the schedule with 2 or 3 wins I can see playoff for this team easily.

Interesting.

Thanks.

Based on what progress ?
Maybe, hopefully not having 2/3 the defense on IR? Please, just go worry about RG3 healing up and next season you will soon begin to realize your one and done.

I seem to be minority here, but I think calling the schedule easy is not a very smart thing to do right now.
8 losses pretty much takes us out of the playoffs, and here are 8 games we could very easily lose:

1 Giants game
Broncos
1 Commanders game
Lions
Saints
Bears
Packers
1 Eagles Game

Plus these games scare me: The other Giants game, the other Eagles game and the other Redksins game.
Chargers (They always play very well at home.)
Rams (Could easily be a surprise team next year.)
Vikings (A.P. not much else to say).

I will disagree with everyone here and say this is actually a tough schedule regardless of last year, I however think this is a good thing because if we make the playoffs, I want to play very hard teams first.

If we can add Cooper via the draft and sign either Winston or Clabo to help give Romo time then we'd have as much talent as any team on our schedule. At first glance at the schedule I honestly thought it was joke because I didn't think it was possible to start and end at home under Roger Goodell. With a good draft and maybe 1 or 2 free agents added I'm taking this team at full strength against any team in the NFL this year.
