Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Hi everyone, glad to be here, and ready to take some questions.
Kj, St Louis
2:58 PM ET
Coach, would you equate the Colts' missing Freeney to you not having LT in a game like this?
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
KJ, absolitely. I think Freeney is obviously the Colts top pressure player. Mathis is good, but Freeney commands attention by more than one player. they will absolutely.
Bob Bellantoni, New Jersey

Hey Bill...hello from the Monmouth County, N.J. Shore! This game looks to be an explosive shootout. Both QB's are so solid. Do you think the edge may be the Saints Special Teams...the return game???
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Hi Bob, both Roby and Bush have shown return ability. I do think that gives the Saints a slight edge in that area. But the colts have alot of quickness and I'm sure they will be on point. Either kicking the ball out of bounds or finding a way to keep it away from those returners.

Which of the former Cowboys on the Saints roster do you most regret letting go?
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Eddie, one of them left in free agency -- Scott Fujita. I didn't have much chance to competer since Fujita's agent was also Sean Payton's agent! Scott Shanley, I always had high regard for. Probably if anyone had gone on to have a career that I thought he might have was Scott. I guess I regret him most.

Hey Bill, it appears you and Ricky Williams have a pretty good friendship. What are your thoughts on Ricky, and how has his role as a leader changed since you first took over in 2007?
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Dave, not being in the locker room every day, I couldn't tell you to omuch about Ricky's leadership with the team. I do have a good relationship with him He's an honest, hard-working guy.Forthright, and working hard to rejuvenate his career. And he's certainly done that.
Steve, Atlanta
3:04 PM ET
Bill, I wanted to ask you about one of your former pupils... How did Sean Payton become such a good play caller and where did he develop into such a creative offensive schemer.
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Steve, I'd have to credit Sean with that. He's a dedicated football guy, he researches thoroughly, and he has a good feel for what his personnel can do. And he tries to maximizes that. That's why he's such a good play-caller, because he recognizes what his players can do.

Tuna - did Rex Ryan call you at all during the season for advice? Heard him on tv saying he thought you would answer that call? If he did, I hope you told him to put extra gravy on his fries.
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Rex did call -- but it was for advice on the Breeder's Cup. I told him he should consult with someone else on that matter!

Hey Bill Huge fan, Do you believe that two weeks to prepare for the SB#44 is better or worst for the two teams. Considering rythm and timing is important when staying sharp.
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Hi Johnny, Having been faced with a two-week time frame in our first Super Bowl and one week in out second, I would say the two weeks is more advantageous for the coaches and for players to get healthy. I think the one week lapse puts too much pressure on the logistics for a game of this magnitude.
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Before super Bowl XXV, we had to fly straight to Tampa for Super Bowl week from San Francisco after we beat the 49ers in the NFC title game.
Ciso, Dallas

Bill, Since you are responsible for launching Tony Romo`s career, Do you find yourself watching him play even though you are on another team? Do kind of see it like he`s your kids.
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
I have -- along with Tony -- a number of players I'm very fond of, guys I've seen grow and develop. He is certainly a guy that I've watched, along with the Brady James, De Marcus Wares, Jason Wittens, and Miles Austins.
oscar, Miami
3:12 PM ET
Bill, are you guys are considering bringing a number 1 receiver for chad henne
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Oscar, we'd be interested in the position. But they have to be available, we can't invent them.
Jay , Spencer, Iowa
3:13 PM ET
Being from Iowa I'm a Kurt Warner fan. What's your take on Kurt getting into the HOF?
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Jay, I think he'll go in on roller skates.
al cacace, hollywood

could Chad Penington be offerd a coaching job with the Dolphins
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Al, I think Chad's intention is to try to continue playing, so I don't think coaching is on the forefront for him right now.
Andrew M, Atlanta
3:15 PM ET
In your opinion, if the Saints Defense cannot produce a turnover, can the team still win?
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Andrew, turnovers are a vital part of any game, and in my opinion the most significant of statistics. I think both teams will be hard-pressed to win without creating turnovers.
Vinnie , Rochester Ny
3:16 PM ET
What are the odds Jason Taylor will remain with the Dolphins? Also do you like working with Stephen Ross?
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Vinnie, the first part: I do like working with Stephen Ross. I don't know the answer to the Taylor question at this moment. He's a free agent as of March 5 and we haven't discussed it yet. We'll see where that goes when the time comes.
ed lunsford, FL

Mr. Parcells, how have you managed to avoid having draftees holdout?
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Ed, we try to be at what we feel the market price is as quickly as possible. Most good agents recognize that.
Victor, Atlanta, GA

This one is for fun... Who is funnier you or Dan Henning?
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
He's a lot funnier than I am!
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Dan and I are kind of like grumpy old men...
Mitch, Halifax, Canada

Hey bill, do you think the Saints defence can get the same pressure and hits to Manning that they got againts Warner and Favre, also with out Freeney do you think that the Colts will be able to stop Brees from carving up the Colts secondary?
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Mitch, I think Peyton Manning and the Colts passing game gets rid of the ball more quickly, and that will make it more difficult to get pressure on Peyton.
The Saints have very good pass protection in the middle -- their guards are very powerful, and that give Brees room to step up. So I think both teams will struggle on pressure. I think both teams will have to blitz a little to get the pressure they need.
Dan, Bayonne,NJ
3:25 PM ET
What is your biggest regret with regards to your coaching career?
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
Hi Dan, probablty having to leave the New England Patriots.
Bill Parcells, Miami Dolphins
This has been fun, and thanks for the questions. As with all fans, I will be watching Sunday with great interest.
There is a lot of uncertainty about the game, and that is what intrigues me.
