I know, I know...doesnt matter.

But being 12th and the lowest 4-1 ranked team with these goofy comments is absurd:

Somebody drive down Greenville, or go to the snobby Uptown area (which was Nowheresville in 1997), and hand out Cowboys tickets. Seriously, can some Dallas-based celebrity do this? Maybe somebody like, oh, Jerry Jones? As mesmerizing of a home as Jones built, the 'Boys have absolutely no home-field advantage. #discouraging

What does that have to do with winning?

I hate the commentary on the NFL network. They are all Cowboys haters. Easiest way to boost ratings.

Total opposite with this guy though. Elliot Harrison is a Cowboy fan all the way. Notice how he often mentions areas of Dallas from his days of living here...etc.

I don't care about the rating, but he has a point regarding the stadium. They have the worst home field advantage in the league.

It's an overstatement to say they play 16 road games, but it's not too far off.

I'd love for this team to have a home field advantage that a Seattle or New Orleans has, but it's not going to happen.

We'll see later on this season. New Orleans and Houston are our neighbors. If the game is field with Giants fans than i'd say we may have a problem.

Stadium size is part of it.

Dallas has 20,000+ extra tickets to sell compared to New Orleans and Seattle.
After you go past the the standard 70k seats sold the odds are far greater that the extra 20,000 seat won't be held onto by the home fans. It would still mean a huge number of home fans actually attended the game.

Say we fill only 65% of our 91 k seats with home fans....that's nearly 60,000 home fans....which would be between 90-100% in more than half the stadiums.

San Francisco is not a neighbor, and they had about a 50-50 split in attendance.

It's an issue for the guys on the field, but a non-issue for those at the top getting paid by having a full stadium, regardless of what team they're supporting.

Not too mention, both teams fans think we're rivals.
I cannot relate about Texans opinion on the matter from a personal standpoint, but I can say you are 100% correct about Saints opinion of Dallas being a rival as a native Louisianian. The thought is often thrown into discussions I have with Saints fans around here, but I just do not get where it comes from.

Yep, Bobby Hebert just two weeks ago said next to Atlanta, Dallas is the team Saints fan "love to beat".....

THAT'S what I'm talking! I don't get it. I wear my Cowboys gear all the time. The Star is on my car. Practically everyone where I work are either Saints or LSU fans and know who I am already. I would try talking to Saints fans about their opponents during the weeks leading up to our game. No one wanted to talk about the Falcons or Bears BEFORE they played the games. No one barely wanted to talk about the Vikings game AFTER they beat them. Usually, it was how they were going to do September 28 what they did last season. Sike. Sad.
