I don't care about the rating, but he has a point regarding the stadium. They have the worst home field advantage in the league.

It's an overstatement to say they play 16 road games, but it's not too far off.

I'd love for this team to have a home field advantage that a Seattle or New Orleans has, but it's not going to happen.

There are teams like Cleveland and Oakland who have sucked forever and their fans support them come what may. Dallas fans are front runners with defeatest attitudes. Even now we are showing we are "about that life" and the fans are still "waiting for 8-8". You would think with our complete history (not recent history) they would be more supportive. It should take an act of God for some visitor to get into our historic stadium ... but noooooo:angry:

I was referring specifically to the issue of not having a home field advantage due to the number of opposing fans in attendance.

It seems clear that a lot of Cowboys fans are selling their tickets.

Business is business I guess...

Right and I'm sorry but I don't care about the profit they get. Its one thing when the product is terrible. But we're 4-1. That excuse is no longer valid. If you can afford a 100 dollar ticket the little 3 or 400 dollar profit you get shouldn't be anything to you.

Ideally, I agree with you, but neither of us know what the individual season ticket holders finances look like. Season tickets nowadays are a substantial financial investment. Fandom or not.

I understand but if you're struggling I don't think you'd be a season ticket holder. I know with the profit they make for reselling the tickets pay for themselves but that's just not how you should go about it as a fan. I'm all for people on the come up but this is greed and its not hurting Jerry its hurting the fans and the product on the field.

No disagreements from me, but it's not for you or I to say what someone else does with their tickets once they've paid for them.

I don't like it either, but it looks like thats just the way it is now.

No matter what the media thinks, teams that have had a mediocre record in their not-so-recent past always have an uphill battle to cause most people to gain respect for them. If the Cowboys are capable of continuing on the path they've currently taken, it's only a matter of time before their reputation reflects their improvement. We've had some close calls in recent weeks in terms of our prospects for winning or losing.

Only time will tell whether this team's reputation improves or remains approximately the same as it's been for almost 2 decades. The homefield advantage will return if and whenever the fans fully realize they're paying for a winning product. As long as those paying for their tickets have a right to sell them and recoup some of the considerable $$ they've had to forfeit, they're likely to continue on that path. Winning is the only thing that might be able to affect that.

You're right. But at the same time I don't want to hear these same fans crying about how bad our home field is or if this team continues to go silent count at their own field.

I just look at other teams.....can you imagine Packers fans doing that? For a couple of hundred of dollars? Or 9ers fans? I know its a slippery slope and while this organization has underachieved for years the time when they are probably overachieving and now it seems like our homefield is even worse.

The sad thing is, I Think the better we get the worse our home field is and the more opposing fans want to come see us.

To be fair, until an NFC East team beats an NFC West team other than the Rams, this is going to be the case.

The NFC East isn't getting much respect despite the three winning records.
