Yeah. Seems like the best of a bad set of alternatives.

I agree Hos. This is the smartest move for both Atlanta, Vick and the NFL.

PFT is saying that Jimmy Williams was also cited for marijuana possession.

It's not looking good for Virginia Tech-South. I got my eye on you, DeAngelo Hall..

I'm sure there was plenty of pressure from the NFL and the Falcons to do this.

It helps avoid a nasty situation in the short term.

Yeah, I'd be shocked if he wasn't under tremendous pressure on all sides to do this.

You can bet he was.

I'm just wondering details - I assume he will still be getting paid at least in the short term ....... ?

Hostile...so what is your opinion of the CW's in this case? They are cooperating, but arn't they guilty too? What will happen to them? How does that work?

CWs are in knee deep in trouble just like Vick but probably getting a deal to rat out on Vick, they most likely won't get any prison time...just a WAG.

I also there there are other witnesses which we haven't been privvy of knowing.

I also think there are some NFL and other pro sport figures involved or attended dog fights.

If this proves to be true then the hurricane has just begun to blow.

Last year I listened to tons of NFL Radio on Sirius, and I got so tired of Pat Kirwan talking up Williams as the next great player... Even though he was a known knucklehead.

This is why you don't gamble on these guys. Leopards almost never change their spots.

No kidding! And, if I were a betting man I would guess that there are other NFL players involved!
