Funny the people that said Kellen Moore couldn't coach.....Now he has a ring. The same people that said D-Law was washed......

Really starting to think this 30 year drought is for one reason only....and that's the people in that damn building are really that dumb.

No other way to explain it. You would think after 20 years....Hey something would sink in....catch on....but nope. Same old losing ways.

Now....Jerry has totally sold his soul to Wakanda for the sake of winning. Good luck Jerry. You deserve everything you have worked so hard for.

Demarcus Lawrence, difference-maker for Seahawks D, one win from ultimate told-you-so

Lawrence left the Cowboys after 11 seasons this past offseasn and got in a verbal dust-up with his former team when he said he went to Seattle because he knew "for sure" he wasn't going to win a Super Bowl in Dallas.
Not sure that's an I told you so. He didn't say he was going to win one in Seattle. It also isn't the reason he went to Seattle. He went to Seattle because the Seahawks offered him the best deal.

I mean, in March before free agency started, he had this to say:

"The ball is in their court. I'm not only going to play in Dallas," Lawrence said, via Mac Engel of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "I'm going to have other options, but I'd like to stay here. It would be a glorious thing."
"...My family is here. I love it here. The fans love me here."

I’m hoping DLaw gets a ring. He was a much better player here than too many fans gave him credit for.
Me, too. Not quite to the extent that I was happy that Ware got one, but I don't really begrudge a player getting one when they go elsewhere because the team no longer wants him. Lawrence played hard here. He wasn't the quickest end, so he worked on his body and his technique to take advantage of the skills he had. He worked hard to be a run-stopper. It isn't his fault that this team failed. It's the front office's for not taking advantage of the times it had both him and Parsons on the defense.

Plus, I'd rather Seattle win than New England get another ring. And I like Aden Durde from his time here as well.

Lawrence isn't there just for the ride. He was a legitimate contributor.

Any ex-Cowboy will be a Cowboy in my mind. I wish them the greatest success for the rest of their careers with one obvious exception, whenever they play the Cowboys.

Nah, he milked his injuries here and even used that as contract leverage one time. His Hot Boyz club was beyond stupid. Jerry is never going to be shamed or learn any lessons from anything, so forget that angle. I'm going for New England.

DLaw was a solid player who played most of his career with Dallas and saw what most here see, a dysfunctional organization with a culture that is accepting of mediocrity. He left to play an integral role in the defense for an up-and-coming team who are now playing in the Super Bowl.
Another player who left the Cowboys in order to realize their dream of playing in the Super Bowl.

I'd like for him to get a ring. It may give someone on our front office a clue that our culture is a problem. Not to mention I am against NE or Pittsburgh getting a 7th while we only have 5. I'm a Seahawks fan this week.

Perhaps our team and culture needs throwing under the bus?
Agree, I think this is the issue that is being highlighted here. I don't approve a lot of what DLaw did/said while he was in Dallas, but its probably not a coincidence that as soon as he leaves he becomes viewed as a model teammate who is prioritizing a championship. I love the Cowboys, but Jerry has set a culture around building brands, maximizing profits, and entertainment value over winning championships.
