News: NFL: Demarcus Lawrence one win from ultimate told-you-so

Ware left and got a ring.
Lawrence is about to.

Bold prediction: Ezeiruaku becomes a decent player, gets a second deal here, is cut a few years in, and goes elsewhere to get a ring.

Meanwhile 92 year old Jerry is still trying to prove he is a football man.

It’s interesting to see posters that defend every decision the team makes.

Loved dlaw here, was a beast and i hope Seattle crushes them

Don't care much for those saying it around here, either....but, there is a big difference between being a critical fan and a teammate....I bet you're wearing you Hot Boyz shirt right now!! Lol
And at the end of the day, who was responsible for the "Hot Boyz" theme? ;)

It's called a chain of command, and the reality is the only chain of command in Dallas is Jerry Jones because he runs the show.

No one can argue the fact that if Jerry didn't get lucky and hire Jimmy, there was / is a good chance that the Cowboys would never have won any superbowls after Jerry bought the team in 1989.

DL only stated what every fan and player knows or is afraid to admit, until Jerry is GONE.

The greatest 5 sack a year defensive end in the history of the league.

lol so that was all one players fault ?? and I have no idea what game your refering to.
Did I say it was one players fault? He was on the field and thus has to also take responsibility for his contributions to this teams shortcomings. You guys do this weird thing where none of the players are ever held accountable, its just the team losing and they have absolutely nothing to do with it.

I like the player ... but I don't trust him. Just feels like a long term commitment would be regretted. If they tag & play or tag & trade, seems like the team would be using their contractual rights to their advantage for once.
I'm not that interested in tag and trade because even if we trade for a first-round pick and use it on a receiver, there's no guarantee that you are going to hit on that player and it might take a while even if you do. Matthew Golden, who many of us were eyeing in last year's draft, had 29 receptions for 361 yards and no TDs this year for Green Bay.

I'd rather just tag Pickens, let him play this year on the tag and then decide if his play and behavior warrant a long-term deal. No sense creating a hole that we have to fill and might do poorly. Keep our strengths as strengths and work on our weaknesses.

Still doesn't have to be an azz....don't forget, Jerry gave Jimmy everything he needed to succeed....they helped each other. Jerry's money bought him another SB without Jimmy. What did Jimmy do in Miami?? His college style didn't work with a salary cap and je took the money to the beach, instead of adjusting. Can't say that I blame him.
You're right, Jerry controls everything...he even gets his haters to keep watching, talking and making him money. He thanks you for your contribution

Demarcus Lawrence, difference-maker for Seahawks D, one win from ultimate told-you-so

https://www.nfl.com/news/demarcus-l...-seahawks-d-one-win-from-ultimate-told-you-so

Lawrence left the Cowboys after 11 seasons this past offseasn and got in a verbal dust-up with his former team when he said he went to Seattle because he knew "for sure" he wasn't going to win a Super Bowl in Dallas.
:muttley:
Every dog has his Super Bowl day.
Dlaw had words bout our short-term chances. All true.
Then Micah added to the kerkuffle with DLaw when Dlaw was leaving.
Hey, Micah, how's life in frigid Green Bay or Philthy?
Keep your head up, Micah.

D law had 6 sacks this year. he not even close to the best player on the defense he's a role player there

Why are you jealous because our idiotic football team doesn't even have the competency to even know how to make it to the playoffs, let alone a SB in the last 30 years?
I don't like idiots talking crap about my favorite team. Idiotic fans keep following them, even though they don't know how to make it to the Superbowl....can you imagine, what kind of idiot calls them their favorite team, talks about them everyday on a fan forum, roots for former players that talk crap about his team....Hates his own team!!! Lol!!! Now that is idiotic, don't you think.....hard not to laugh at idiot fans, like that....right??? Go Cowboys!!!! Ohh, sorry....screw the Cowboys and Go Lawrence!!!! Is that better?
:lmao:

As noted, DL stated nothing that any fan of the cowboys hasn't thought of already.

I also believe DL's comment was directed at the owner and not the team.

A chill pill may be in order LOL

Can’t say for sure but I would think that would piss off Pickens. I wouldn’t be surprised if he held out.

The cowboys haven’t made the playoffs the last 30 years?

sacks are a silly and meaningless stat for how good a DL is
Really? For DEs? It's the stat. If you can get to the QB that gets you paid. Lawrence got to the QB in his contract years. Not much since. The best DEs in football - Garrett, Hutchinson, Anderson, Hunter... those guys get to the QB.
