Only a few days before the NFL Draft, Miami Hurricanes offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson was outed to the league's 32 teams as having tested positive for marijuana at the NFL Combine this February, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Henderson had been open at the Senior Bowl during the interviews with teams, telling them that he had used the substance in the past but was moving on from those days.

What a dummy. That's the last thing he needed.

Used to want him as a late RT steal, but I don't even think it's worth the effort at this point unless we're talking 7th round or UDFA.

I've following this player for a couple of years. He is as big of a knucklehead as you'll find. He hasn't had any major criminal issues, but his other issues are constant every year. I think he missed games every year in college due to disciplinary reasons.

He has terrific size and athleticism, but minimal developed skill or weight room strength.

I give him about a 95% chance of failure.

He did not give the amount of effort needed on his college team.
Pretty much quit his pro day cause he was wore out.
Comes out he has a positive drug test.

Would not touch this guy in the draft.

If he didn't have any other red flags it would of dropped him, but with his previous issues, he will be lucky to be drafted in the 7th round. I would take a flyer on him with one of our 7ths. That is what those should be used for.

I am all for taking a chance with a 7th round pick on a number of players like DE Lynch or RB Crowell (sp?).

However I need it to be on a player that actually wants to play and not some guy who looks to me like he really does not have the heart for it.

What's the deal with Crowell, and where would he have been drafted if not for whatever baggage he brings?

I think he still gets drafted and if he is there in the 7th I would consider taking him.

He had a couple of legal issues, some called him the gun runner as a funny nickname but I think the charges were all dropped.

He was booted off the Georgia team because of the legal issues and he failed a drug test.

I don't think he got into trouble when he transferred and played Alabama State.

And he has had some injury issues.

But again if we have not drafted another RB and he is sitting there in the 7th with our multiple picks I would take a chance on the kid cause I think he wants to play vs someone like the the miami OT who just doesn't seem to want to play IMO.

He failed a drug test and then the cops found a gun in the vehicle that he was driving. It was not his vehicle and the charges were dropped.

Those 2 incidents are it, but they caused a dismissal from his original team which makes it seem worse.

no doubt.
lots of great weedheads in the NFL. --bigger issue is stupidity of failing at crucial time
zero great players in the NFL that are lazy or dislike football and probably very few that are dumb.
