Link doesn't work for me. Can you tell me who it has Dallas taking with the first three picks?

if we spend another first round pick on a safety, someone should be shot in the face with a potatoe gun... repeatedly.

Spending an early pick on one of obvious need is certainly acceptable. Safety would have to come after OLine, WR, etc. My point is that ANOTHER first round safety would suck, and not to mention, would still be a crap shoot as far as when/if he would even contribute. Why don't we give the FSU kid more than half a season before we are ready to throw him to the dogs?

Reggie Nelson would be an incredible 1st rd pick for us!!! the guy is fast, can deliver a hit, but most importantly is a playmaker and can cover. I would absolutely love it if he were our 1st rd pick. Although some of the other picks in this draft i dont agree with. like Ginn over Jarrett among others

We may draft a CB in RD 1, if a really good one (Leon Hall) falls in our laps. That would potentially enable a move of Anthony Henry to FS, and you can never have enough quality CBs.

The way I see it, we have a great deal of potential with Mr. Watkins. However, I think we need to provide more of a security blanket (think veteran) in the short term for both Roy Williams and the coaching staff. I'm guessing that BP & Co were thinking this when they brought Tony Parrish in.

So, I think the more likely scenario is to go get a veteran FS in FA (if one is available that won't break the bank). This provides the team with the most flexibility. We wouldn't have to move Henry to FS.

In either case, whether we pick up a veteran FS in FA, or move Henry to FS, it provides a security blanket for Roy and the staff, and gives Mr. Watkins a mentor to help polish his skills.

Picking a FS high in the draft provides none of these benefits.

I believe that the operative term echoing in the minds of our drafting committee for Round 1 in April will be "pressure player."

It won't surprise me if they don't draft any DBs on the first day. They will allow Watkins to grow and mature as well as Reeves and Jones. They may try to bring Parrish back to provide veteran depth.

I cant see us pikking a tackle. Why would we take a tackle when we need a guard? That mock was horrible.

obviously not updated too recently since it still has the Lions picking first.
