So CBS will release him mid-season?
Very trueAikman wanted to return with Miami. And Romo has way more game than Aikman had at the end.
I'm sure his CBS contract will have a clause allowing him to return to the NFL if an opportunity arises.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he plays next year. The fly in ointment is that the Cowboys “released” him even though he retired. Maybe someone can explain this, but what reason could there be to just drop his rights? There was no difference cap wise between his retirement and his release. Apparently the Cowboys did this at Tony’s request. So any said “I’m retiring, but cold you release me too,so you don’t have any rights to me?”
If Romo has a change of heart and decides to play, Houston can get him easy as anything, offer him a one year deal with no large contract previously attached.
Something is fishy.
Oh, thats bad, coachIf he sucks on TV he may sign with Cleveland just to save face.
Certainly if was a division rival. If the Do Right Rule applies both ways and it should, than Romo should run it by Jones first if it is with another team. I highly doubt it but it is the right thing to do.
I didn't read it and I agree.Article is 100% BS
