Its a win-win situation though. Jerry barely cares, any upset fans feel vindicated because there was punishment, and all the money goes to either charity or the retired players assistance trust. I doubt the league really cares about disciplining an owner of this.

Not sure what any possible penalty may be, but history has shown Jerry Jones will sue the league if he does not like their directives. Not saying he will. Just saying it would not surprise me in the least if he did.
