NFL Honors Ceremony

In case anybody is interested, the NFL Honors Ceremony is tomorrow night at 8pm ET, and it will be shown on FOX. This is the ceremony where all the official awards that are recognized by the NFL will be handed out. For those that don't know all of them, here's the list:

Me too...the first one that comes to mind is the game-winner in Pittsburgh.

Believe it or not, he is a favorite for coach of the year.

Going 13-3 with a rookie backfield including a fourth round pick QB will do that for you.

It's still funny to me how this show kicked off the year after the Arlington Super Bowl. The ceremony is held in the Super Bowl host city. I'm sure it wasn't intentional but it amuses me that Jerry Jones didn't think of something like this to showcase Arlington at the time but the NFL came up with the idea the very next year.

The screen in PIT was an incredible culmination of effort, play design, skill and execution.

Probably the best play I've seen us run in the last 5 yrs.

Yep -- those killer head slaps that are now illegal were some of his proudest acts . . . just ask him and he'll swell with pride.

Some people will lose it if Jones is inducted into the Hall. Heads might literally explode. And who knows how extreme media and fans of other teams will react too.

The closest thing to that is the Pepsi MAX ROY......the AP has been giving out OROY and DROY awards since 1967. The only regular ROY that I know of is the Pro Football Writers Of America, but that one isn't recognized by the NFL.
