With all these no huddle offenses you're about to see a game like the NBA, when the championship contenders are made in the personnel department.

The team with the most talent will win out the more snaps you play it out with. Letting a defense and offense rest and have max preparation for each snap helps level the playing field more.

I think last night showed, that while teams like the Ravens will hold up for a half, when you're outmatched across the board you tap out at some point much like LeBron has been doing in the NBA.

That's why there's 35 second shot clocks in college basketball. With 24 second shot clocks you're increasing the possessions and more talent is going to win out, ala fewer upsets.

I think this bodes great for us if we go true no huddle because teams will not be able to match drive for drive with us over the course of the game.

Last year only a few teams ran the fast paced offense. This year I'd wager to say over half the league will. Last night showed what happens when you don't have the offensive weapons to keep up.

to run a high octane offense you have to have a QB that can make quick smart decisions and be able to identify the defense and get the right audibles and plays ran. The sam Bradfords, GEno Smiths, Alex Smiths, Philip Rivers, Christian Ponders, etc etc can't do that. you won't see half the league running fast paced offenses, because half the league don't have the QB, WR, RB, OL, or general ability to.

One game between two teams does not dictate what will happen for the rest of the season and other teams.

Maybe we can have a game between two teams that winds up being a slow 6-9 FG fest as the final, can we at that point start to make multiple threads about how the games will be slow?

Of course we will not...because that would be kind of silly after just one game between two teams.

2007 Patriots, went 19-0, record breaking team who ran up the score on everyone and lost the game that mattered the most. It ain't over until its over.

The Broncos are gonna be deadly, but I don't think their success is indicative of the success of other teams around the league. Peyton is amazing and has never played in Indy with the talent he has in Denver. They have a top 5 offense and defense. They have a great secondary, great pass rushers, great receivers, great O-line, and Peyton. The only thing they really lack is a running game, but they only really use it to run out the clock anyway. Broncos are gonna be a tough team. If they didn't have such a fluke loss to Baltimore last year, they might've won the Super Bowl. The good news, there aren't many Denvers in the league. Just win enough games to make playoffs, and (recent history has shown) everyone has a chance to win in the playoffs.

Last night proves nothing other than having one of the best QBs ever makes you really, really good.

I disagree Dallas has probably some of the most talented players in the league for whatever reason they cannot take advantage of the talent. I would say this team OVERALL has more talent than the 90's teams

Cowboys have some GREAT talent but they are missing some of that talent at some very key positions like offensive line, defensive line and safety. Not to mention lacking depth at key positions.

having some of the most talented players is not the same as having an overall talented team. we have some stars but we have no depth and now it's even worse. we also, atleast last year, lacked talent in some very key areas. mostly at lb because of injury and the oline

I watched Bradford run a fast paced offense at Oklahoma and he did just fine. Geno Smitg hasn't showed anything yet and you are probably right about the others.

We definitely have the personnel to run a quicker paced offense. I wouldn't mind seeing it occasionally early in a game.

Remember Bufalo's K-gun in the 90's the way the Cowboy's negated it was with time consuming drives by the offense (although turnovers helped too)....so as to not have to match point to point.

If winning was all about talent the Cowboys wouldn't have been 8-8 the past 2 seasons.

Manning showed last night what having a dominant QB can do for a team. I keep repeating it no position influences the outcome of games like a QB and if you have a great one you're going to win a lot of games. Denver wouldn't be half the team they are without Manning. The Ravens looked as if they might run away with the game early on but they couldn't stop Manning.

The problem with living off a QB's arm is you eventually die off it. If Peyton is having to put the ball up like he did last all season he'll suffer some multiple turnover games. He dodged at least a couple last night.

The Denver Broncos aren't even that much more talented than the Ravens. As has been stated already, Peyton Manning was the difference last night. As were the injured Ravens. That offense absolutely bogged down once they lost Jones.
