NFL Is urged To Investigate Officiating Crew From Dallas Cowboys at Detroit Lions Game

I think one day the truth will come out and we’ll find out just how rigged this sport is. I’ve watched some YouTube videos and some of it makes a whole lot of sense. Dez caught that pass. Rigged!

That’s a catch

well the refs ruled it a catch on the field, and it shouldnt have been overturned, because there was no
clear proof and the rule itself wasnt clear.
Anything you have to look at for 5 min, in slow motion, all angles, is not clear proof. And it wasnt indisputable

The amount of comebacks in the NFL this year is unprecedented. Either defenses just decide to stop playing, really suck, or gambling is influencing the spread…
there are also the weird upsets that happen too.
upset is ok but 31-7 upset of a 9-2 team is a little hard to believe

The NFL is corrupt and rigged and anyone who doesn’t think so isn’t paying attention. These refs are slimy and despise our Cowboys. It’s been an ongoing issue for DECADES
How in the hel_ can you watch if you really think it is rigged?
I think the officiating is terrible for good reason. The refs see the game from 1 angle, field level. Everyone watching sees it from many different angles. We see every conceivable angle the 60 year old moving refs do not. The stupid NFL could fix this by letting every play be challenged AND if it’s an obvious screw up, which there are a lot, they just fix the mistake upstairs before the next play. Stop the game for 1 minute if they need too.

The Raiders did everything they could to help Big Gambling by going for a completely useless FG at the end of the game. They even got a completely bogus call to keep the clock from running out. There's videos breaking this down. Very suspicious. Gambling should be outlawed nation wide.

People know that pro wrestling is fake, and yet they still watch and get invested in it. The NFL could come out tomorrow and admit they script everything, and yet most everyone would still watch it.

Apparently, the NFL finished their investigation of the officiating crew.

Their final report reads..............

"bad calls happen, suck it up buttercup, hard for us to take anybody seriously that lost to Zona"

:lmao:

The NFL would collapse overnight. How many people watch the pro bowl? Especially now that they use flags? At first glance you would see some similarities but that type of wrestling is entertainment with athletic actors. Football is a sport that people play their whole lives and the great ones go on to join the NFL and entertain people nationwide. It is a sport and a team sport.

But they'd be morons to bet on it.

Edit: *bigger morons

Yeah that was a textbook drop
LOL. Now they adding a third step to the equation when it’s always been two. And the football move is the two steps. Same thing they say about fumbles when the receiver catches the ball. Just like Dez’s non-catch. The football move of switching arms and lunging for the goal line is nullified by their whatever way they want to interpret “going to the ground”. The NFL will always interpret their rules the way they want when push comes to shove and say they were right to interpret it that way. Their officiating isn’t arbitrated by any third-party independent agency. It’s “arbitrated” by themselves—“your honor, we looked at the tape and found ourselves not guilty.”

It’s never been two. The rulebook very specifically says a football move after two steps are competed.

The rule that’s currently in place has been there since 2018, and that was updated because prior to 2018 you needed even more to complete a catch

The post that you quoted said three steps. It didn’t say anything about two steps and a football move where (I guess) a third step would be considered a football move. I guess if he ever so slightly started to turn his body “enough” on the second step before the defender knocked it out, it would’ve been considered a football move. But then if he wasn’t in the end zone it would’ve been a fumble, but because he was in the end zone it would be a TD. It’s weird how you would have to make a football move in the end zone when you’ve already crossed the plane and had possession.

Stupid rule and Dez caught it. If you need 2 feet down after a catch before going out of bounds then that’s all you should need in the end zone too.
/end rant

I don’t think it’s weird, because possession cannot be established without the football move (unless he’s going to the ground or standing still)

You need a football move going out of bounds too. The rules do not change in bounds or out of bounds, in the endzone or out of the endzone

But it can be established after two steps. It had been like that for decades. They just added football move for the dubiousness of the Calvin Johnson ruling. It’s why people can see Dez caught the ball with two hands, took two steps, switched to one hand, lunged for the goal line with an outstretched hand holding the football attempting to cross the goal line, and then overruled it all with “well he was going to the ground and lost control of the ball”.
