The rest of the time on that drive, we were playing prevent and basically had a three man rush...

With 10seconds left in the game and they are in FG range you only need to hold them out of the end zone..
So your point fails hard..why would they play man press coverage and alllow the WR to get past you for a TD?
Prevent could have avoided a TD better than what they actually played. Once Rodgers saw our coverage he knew the back shoulder would kill us.

Jerry once again blaming the defense to shift the blame away from Garrett... what did the offense do the whole third, when GB only scored 3? What about the offense giving the Packers a lead for a pick 6?

The last few years, philosophically you want the defense to play soft AND get TOs and then you complain when Ar marched down the field on prevent...

If we win only 6 games this year ( which is likely ) I think its time to fire Jason. I dont want to hear how close they are. Cry me a river, this is a buisness. Does Jerry cut ties with Garrett if we go 6-10? There is no exuse this time. If he dosent fire him than he will def survive next year because the excuse will be we didnt have Zeke for 6 games. Lets be fair, Romo saved this guys career over and over. Him getting hurt also saved his career. ( he had an exuse ) To me he should have gone years ago. Also keep in mind that the Packers defense may be just as bad as ours. That playoff game we were awful in the first half. We should have matched them point for point in that first half. But its over with. It is what it is. Just keep in mind that the Packers defense stinks. Our offense for rhe most part should always look good against that defense.

Our D is far worse than GB’S and my point being that Dak and the O gave them a shot to win...our poor coaching and D once again was atrocious...

The played prevent ALL the way till that moment. Your point they didn't play prevent because of a last play was simply wrong..

If prevent was that successful, you'd think they'd do that regularly in that situation.

There's actually something interesting here. Average points for a team per game in today's NFL is about 22 points and has been 22 points for about 80 years. It's only when you go back prior to 1950 that points per game dip.

30+ points should win you games. If you lose back to back games scoring over 30 points then your team has a defense problem

And when the opposing team scored more than thr other team, the opposing team won every SINGLE game, irrespective of how many points were scored. And guess what, we were also among the four that didn't win it despite scoring thirty.

None of what your saying has any relevance to how points are scored anyways.. Dak's INT, THE OFFENSE, gave them seven points... and Dak and his passer rating don't include the two horrible passes he threw and got bailed out by Dez and the one where he threw it to Alfred Morris while surrounded by the whole defensive line. It was because we weren't successfully offensively passing the whole second half we abandoned passing basically and ran Zeke on power plays. Dak was sub par the second half, despite his passer rating.

So what exactly is your point?

And honestly I have no idea what your point is. This was not an exclusively 30 point game for the winning team. And if one simply searches games where both teams scored AT LEAST thirty in the game between 2016-2017, there were twenty games. So me saying offensives scoring thirty points is nothing in today's modern game is pretty much a fact and saying the offense scored plus thirty and should have got them a win, is a play on actual reality.

Saying one wins because the offense scored at least thirty points is just nonsensical and meaningless. Your query just shows an interesting anomaly, which is when scream scores thirty PRECISELY they tend to win.

Exactly.. They really were just trying to score.

We couldn't move the ball passing and running to the right side wasn't effective. We basically kept throwing stop routes to Witten underneath or TWill, which got intercepted.

They found something going left in the power running packages that they basically resorted to running Zeke there the whole drive until the pass to Dez. And the next play they just ran a play fake off of Zeke.
