With 10seconds left in the game and they are in FG range you only need to hold them out of the end zone..When THEY SCORED that is what we played. Why on earth would one play prevent that close to end-zone?
The rest of the time on that drive, we were playing prevent and basically had a three man rush...
Jerry once again blaming the defense to shift the blame away from Garrett... what did the offense do the whole third, when GB only scored 3? What about the offense giving the Packers a lead for a pick 6?
The last few years, philosophically you want the defense to play soft AND get TOs and then you complain when Ar marched down the field on prevent...
This guy..
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he expected Green Bay and quarterback Aaron Rodgers to at the very least tie Sunday's game after Dallas claimed a late lead. Rodgers did even better.

The offence scored 30+ in back to back losses...the offence did more than enough, Dak matched up well against Rodgers for the 3rd time in his young career...Dak and the offence is not the problem...D and our pop warner coaching is the problem...
Also keep in mind that the Packers defense may be just as bad as ours. That playoff game we were awful in the first half. We should have matched them point for point in that first half. But its over with. It is what it is. Just keep in mind that the Packers defense stinks. Our offense for rhe most part should always look good against that defense.

So your point fails hard..why would they play man press coverage and alllow the WR to get past you for a TD?
Prevent could have avoided a TD better than what they actually played. Once Rodgers saw our coverage he knew the back shoulder would kill us.
Thirty points is nothing in today's NFL.. stop with that nonsense

Heck. If that fade had been completed for a TD we would have turned the ball over to AR with even more time on the clock. That tells me that our coaching staff had only one thought in mind. Score a TD any way or any time you can and think about the time remaining aspect after the score. I guess I am saying I doubt if our coaching staff was really guiding our drive to coincide with the clock so much as just because our running game was more effective than our passing game at that stage.
