Another thing that jumps out about Seattle vs Dallas, is the coaching. This guy is not sitting on his lead, he's still being aggressive, but smart aggressive. Garrett would just try to run the clock out from 10 minutes.

Sure sounds like that is what you were insinuating when you say Dallas could have had him at a minimal price. Seattle isn't paying a minimal price for him right now. That has to factor in. It is more than the one year contract, it is about the whole package. He may have been the right guy to sign for Dallas last year, but there was no way it was going to be a minimal price for the long term. Maybe Dallas should have signed him, but they would have to pay to do so.

OK. you win...the spencer tagging 2 years in a row vs having 2 guys was the move last year.

Bennet was signed to a long term deal THIS YEAR..after Ware was gone and spencer gets a injury payday.

I agree. QBs are so protected that defenders have to both hold up and not allow extra yards for the QB who tried to juke around. You could tell the DB was caught up in indecision. It wasn't a 15 yard foul, IMO.

You keep bringing up Spencer. I am not comparing him to Spencer or the moves Dallas made with Spencer. I'm talking about money and long term deals. They could not have gotten Bennett on the cheap on other than a one year deal. They could have done that last year like Seattle. So what? It would have still cost them money to keep him for the long term. Maybe he is worth it and should have been the move Dallas made. It just isn't a cheap one and that is exactly what was insinuated.

Defensively Seattle is that good. You don't shut down A-Rod without being good.

Offensively, to be determined but they look as good as anyone could have imagined.
