Maybe this will empower our boys, to show that Emmitt will do whatever it takes to win one for his team, this should inspire them for sure...thats if some see it...

Man what a game, I had Tivo'd it and just rewatched it. It's amazing we didnt blow that team out that day, but three plays kept the Giants in it:
1) false start on Erik Williams inside the Giants 10 on 3rd down, he barel;y moved and the play continued, and Aikman completed what would have been a 1st and goal pass to Novecek. Instead we ended up with 3rd and long and failed to convert, settling for a FG
2) Johnston's hands as a receiver were tremendous, but he dropped a ball that would have given us a 1st down before halftime, and we had to settle for another FG (13-0)
3) The Kevin Williams play on the punt, botching a ball that was blocked...what a freaking bonehead. He also caused an interception in the GB playoff game two weeks later by running the wrong route, Aikman gave him the arse chewing of his career after it too.
What a great game though. Haley dint play much and basically wasnt a factor when he was out there, but he did turn and run with Hampton on a deep outlet pass and made the tackle way downfield, had he not dont that Hampton probably would have scored a TD. Jeffocat had a huge day, getting 2 or 3 sacks and several other hits on Simms. I had forgot we lost Maryland in the first half of that game due to a chop block that wasnt called. The run defense really suffered without him out there in the 2nd half.
And that OT drive to win the game. What a way to finish. That was a championship drive.
