Based on what tie breaker model are you using assuming its a 3 way tie with us CHI and TB?

If Chicago wins both, Tampa & the Falcons lose tomorrow, and we beat Philly we have the #5 seed.

If Chicago wins both, Tampa loses and the Falcons win tomorrow, and we beat Philly and both Tampa and Atlanta win in week 17, we have the #6 seed.

If Chicago wins both, Tampa wins and the Falcons lose tomorrow, and we beat Philly and both Tampa and Atlanta win in week 17, we have the #6 seed.

This is all according to the Yahoo! playoff generator.

Basically Chicago is out unless they win their division.

We NEED either Atlanta or the Bucs to lose tomorrow. If they both win, our playoff chances are practically over. Because the Bucs play Oakland and the Falcons play the Rams in Week 17.

this is not accurate - dallas would only win the tiebreaker in rule #2 if we had the head to head sweep vs BOTH tampa AND chicago...which we dont..however, whatever tiebreaker rule #1 means - if that DOES NOT elimintate anyone and it goes to rule #3 the bears would be eliminated bc of the worst conference record. THEN our head to head over TB would come into effect. I THINK.

If Atlanta loses once they're done as Tampa jumps them if they are both 10-6.

Because I think it goes to conference record. Chicago already has 5 conference losses. I believe that eliminates them.

Chicago is basically out of the playoffs unless they win their division.

Yes...as fans, we all want the Cowboys to make the playoffs...why, I'm not sure.

This is not a playoff team.

But I'll be rooting anyway.

This sums up my feelings aswell. I want Dallas in the dance and anything can happen after that. I am just not sure Dallas is strong enough right now to get past the first round.
Can you imagine the pounding Romo and Wade will get from the fans and media if the Cowboys loss in the first round again.......

Nope. We ABSOLUTELY need either Tampa or Atlanta to lose tomorrow because they both play crap teams in week 17. If they both win, we are out, not officially but practically.
