keep drinking that koolaid

So Romo stares down his receivers. That always leads to ints. Most NFL QBs who do that don't start for long. Amazing Romo played so long with an obvious flaw. It normally goes away with coaching and experience.

Tony Romo will not play; Brandon Weeden to get start

Tony Romo will not play Sunday due to a back injury when the Dallas Cowboys host the Arizona Cardinals, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Media's Desmond Purnell report, per a source close to Romo. Brandon Weeden will get his first start of the season.

Romo suffered a back injury Monday night and took a shot to return late in the game. The quarterback didn't practice all week and was listed as questionable. Rapoport reported Saturday that Romo planned to participate in that day's walkthrough.

According to Purnell, the quarterback has two fractures in his transverse process -- a small bone that sticks out of either side of the vertebrae. It is not the same injury that Romo dealt with last year, which necessitated season-ending surgery.

Dallas won't put its star quarterback in harm's way with a 6-2 record.

Cowboys coaches expected Romo to show up and talk his way into Sunday's game, but the quarterback made the call Saturday night that he couldn't play this week, per Rapoport, according to a source informed of Romo's injury.

Romo is one of the best QBs in the league as far as looking off defenders. I hope you haven't been watching football a long time because if you have you're not getting it.

Cowboys' Tony Romo won't play Sunday, could miss more

All indications are Tony Romo won't play today against Arizona, although the Cowboys have held off on official word,The Dallas Morning News' David Moore reports.

Next week's game against Jacksonville in London is in question as well.

Romo is dealing with a pair of transverse process fractures in his back, sources said.

The Cowboys quarterback is listed as questionable on the team’s official injury report, even though he did not practice all week.

  • Gosselin: Best offensive line in NFL isn't enough to protect Tony Romo
  • Tell us: How would you handle Tony Romo's injury situation?
  • Cowboys' Jerry Jones: If Romo can withstand pain, he could play Sunday
  • J.J. Wilcox: If Tony Romo doesn't play, Weeden is no drop off
  • Romo will wear additional padding if he does play against Arizona

Last year and this year he played in 23 games and has throw 16 interceptions with 3 of those coming against SF when he was obviously very rusty and another one was week when Dez fell down. I'm not getting any of your post. Not even close.

lol I am not saying Romo stares down his receivers. The quest for six is saying that. See his posts in this thread. I was being sarcastic in my reply.

They shouldn't have brought him back in the last game, especially after Weeden's success. Here's hoping we rack up a few more wins so that we are in prime position to make a post-season run when Romo is 100%.

Like I said in another thread watching Weeden play is like watching Fitzpatrick play... As much as I hate Orton I would have preferred him as backup. I think we win if Orton was playing for us today.

No, I'm pumped up for Dallas Cowboys football. The same way I got pumped up for Danny White when Roger stepped down. The same way I got pumped up for Steve Pelleur, even though I couldn't stand him. The same way I got pumped up for Beuerlein, Kosar, Testaverde, Hutchinson, Q, and every other player who had to suit up when Roger Troy, or Tony couldn't go.

Man, you are some kind of Cowboys fan.
