Maybe but quarterbacks are valued more. That's why you will never see a DT MVP.

FWIW...Brady, Rodgers, Julio, Khalil Mack and Von Miller are all better at what they do in no particular order..and there are a few more. A DT with a minimal impact on his team's overall record is not a top 5 player.

It doesn't matter though. The media or fans didn't make this list...the players did.

You can tell by the comments that some of the players dont even know the criteria.
Officially stated, it is how do you rank current NFL players for the upcoming 2017 season.
Yet some still think its entirely on last year's performance.

No it's based on this past year..as in Dak's rookie year.

It's the top 100 players of 2017. Obviously the previous season is a major factor, but the list isn't the top 100 players of the previous year.
