I have to disagree a bit. I believe it has come from the Campo era. All that losing fostered a quitters attitude which I believe has bleed over to this very day. It is on JJ and the coaches he hires to weed it out.

Championships aren't won in the regular season. I think that's the point he's trying to make. This team can be as successful as it wants to be in the regular season, but until playoff games are won, they are still who they are: an overachieving regular season team with no playoff heart.

With that said, I do have a bit of optimism about this year. Our schedule sets up nicely for us, a couple headaches are gone and the lockerroom is coming together. Several players have said that.

Don't kid yourselves. If the Cowboys had won one or both of those heartbreaking playoff games (Romo era), it would then be, they haven't won a Super Bowl in over a decade. It is true, you say? Let me put it a different way. Since the Campo era, this team accepts losing. At times they appear to be happy to be winning vs. expecting it. They get too high when they are winning and too low when they are losing. Their attitudes needs to change more than anything else to move forward. If and when that happens then we will truly see them dominate their opponents.

Let me put it a different way. Since the Campo era, this team accepts losing. At times they appear to be happy to be winning vs. expecting it. If and when that happens then we will truly see them dominate their opponents.

So they need to "appear" more upset about winning and happier when losing for the few minutes you get to see them on TV and that"ll show you they've "lost" the losing spirit despite having winning seasons in 4 of the last 6 seasons??!!

It's true, but it's also a rehash of the same crap we've been reading all off-season. He says the Dallas organization is a star because it's a star. OK. The irony is he proves it by writing this. Quite a few NFL teams have underachieved over the last decade, but he's focusing on Dallas. What a new approach.

Uhhhmmmmmmm.....

I'm pretty sure he has written the same "2009 preview" article on many more teams then just the Cowboys.
