college parties are pretty wild to begin with and it is stupid for grown men to be hanging out with kids and that is what they are they are immature kids who do stupid things.
Except they're not kids, they're adults. You can call them "kids" to try and generate a fake-controversy but they are adults.

The very worst you can say is that at any college party, you probably have a few under-21's consuming alcohol - and if that's the worst you got then you got nothing because it's happening all over the country.

I call them kids because that is how they act. I guess you have not spend much time on college campuses. Get a clue this is stupid of them but not against the law and I'm sure should an incident happen you will give some excuse of well that is not fair. These players are stupid for doing this but there is no law again stupid.

You call them kids because your trying to make the "crime" look worse than it is.

No, just the 4 years I got my undergrad and 2 years I got my graduate degree. But sure, beyond that I haven't spent much time on college campuses. Oh except for that year after graduation when I was dating a girl still in college so I'd go to her dorm room a lot.

You may be right, but such things can happen in any social situation that a professional athlete goes to.

The thing which brought me into this thread in the first place was the OP saying the NFL should do something about this. My question was simply "What exactly is the NFL supposed to about adults engaging in promiscuous, but by all appearances consensual, behavior with other adults?"

I call them kids because most act like idiots who for the 1st time are not at home with mommy and daddy looking after them. Spring Breakers much of them college kids every year go out and get stupid and thrown in jail or worse. 18 is only a number means nothing how you act means a lot. As for what the NFL should do? Nothing I never said the NFL should do anything. The players are being stupid to put themselves this environment

Hardly, he is afraid they might oops "score" and she might complain later it was forced or whatever. The same thing can happen anywhere they go. The fact it is a college party is meaningless. He is 28 so he might have been partying with girls 21-23 depending on if grad students or not. Hardly a problem. As usual, some of you are overreacting strictly for "moral" reasons.

And moral reasons is a problem?

You can call them kids all you want but the law calls them adults and that's really all that matters.

when you are judging what two consenting adults are doing, yes

If a 21 year old Harvard student wants to make out with a New England Patriot, how is that anyone's business? This isn't Mark Chmura with a 17 year old.

Doesn't judging in society take place everyday? Doesn't the existence of laws assume "judging" is to be expected and normal?

Since when does "consenting" make it wrong to judge something on a moral basis? Just because there is consent doesn't negate the standard of morality.

There is no universal standard of morality as it pertains to consensual sex between adults.
It's acceptable in our society and is certainly legal. I don't get the outrage.

who says it is wrong? If both want to hook up, it isn't our business.

If they were underage, or there was an allegation of a lack of consent, then yes you could complain but if they are adults, within age appropriate parameters, who cares? Not everyone marries the first woman he kisses.

Well dang.... I thought it was because it was Patriot related.

And no one said it was against the law or the NFL rules some of us think it is stupid for grown men to partying with college kids or adults as you say. It is poor judgment on the player’s part but not against the rule or the law. Because something may be legal does not make it wise.
If I was in a role like Calvin Hill I would not tell them they can’t do this but would strongly advise against it.

Grown men partying with kids? They are only a few years apart in most cases, if even that. A 20 something NFL player partying with lower 20 somethings, I don't care.

It is not like the senior PGA guys tearing it up with college kids

Unfortunately for you, it's looking more and more like that never happened.
How do you "spy" on someone standing in full view of 80,000 people during a national broadcast game???
Ah you got me there. Guilty as charged.

I'm just referencing things they have received criticism for since somebody said they never get criticised.
