NFL Power Rankings Week 6: "Cowboys Are A Team Of Bullies"

The Cowboys currently lead the NFC East, hold the No. 2 seed in the NFC, are tied for the second-best record in the league (with six other teams), and are one of just three teams to have won their last four games.

But what does that mean for the power rankings this week?

Tony Romo’s MRI exam Monday is said to have confirmed the Cowboys’ belief that his back is healing well enough to put him on course to be available soon. The franchise’s decision-makers, including owner Jerry Jones, continue to say the starting-QB job will be Romo’s when he’s healthy enough to play. But that’s relatively easy to say now. It will be much more difficult to actually make a move away from rookie Dak Prescott if Prescott continues to play this way and the Cowboys continue to win.

USA Today, has them ranked at 10. Hard to believe there are 10 teams playing better then the cowboys right now.

I'm surprised that most the of the rankings have us higher or close to the Packers in the power rankings. I think the largest differential was one person ranked us 9 and the Packers 5, but for the most part we're right there with them.

I'm just saying it's remarkable how far you've come in 9 short days! I personally think it's impressive. At any rate, now that we're on the same page, I agree with you that Cowboys have a real shot in this game!!

And I pretty much agree with it, everything else being equal, they have home field.

What in the world are you talking about? Romo has spoken about the fact that he wasn't a big Packers fan as a kid. In fact, he wore #16 in high school because of Joe Montana, and that was the mid 90's when Favre fever was at it's peak in Wisconsin. And how was the 2014 loss his fault? He played lights out. Oh, and let's not forget that Romo is the only Cowboys QB to actually win a game in Lambeau. The Romo bashing is unbelievable, I can't believe some of these people claim to be Cowboys fans.

1st of all it's the USA Today...LOL...and there may not be 10 teams playing better than us, they are just an opinion that they are ranked higher.
But I don't buy into these rankings anyway.

I haven't looked at the entire list either though. Heck as far as I know we may be too high on the list....LOL....
