I can appreciate they are trying to hype the upcoming game for undefeated, but they are going to be showing this and other Patriot games all week.

This one is slated to be shown three times today.

That is one thing that truly bothers me about the network. There have been great games played in NFL history on Christmas day, they could rebroadcast those.

If Goodell and company want people to buy their product make it better.

Show things that real football fans want. Not "Put Up Your Dukes" 50 times or the incredibly bad Bryant Gumbel.

I agree.

I've been saying that for the longest time. Show some of the old classics like the classic Cowboys-Commanders rivalries to prep the upcoming Cowboys-Commanders game. But it seems the NFL Network has put all its eggs in the Patriots basket.

It wouldn't have to be Cowboys themed for me to watch.

Like I said, one of the greatest games in NFL history was played on Christmas Day, Miami Versus Kansas City, the NFL's Longest Game.

They have all week to pay homage to the Patriots.

That PI call on Watkins was a bunch of BS, Watkins was just standing there when Moss plowed into him.

Agreed. A terrible call.

In fact, I think Moss leads the league in terrible calls against him inside the redzone.

It's on again right now. First time I've watched this since it was live, and then I was so hyped I could barely see straight.

Man, we had them stopped so many times, and they just worked Nate Jones. I know we all knew that, but so often it seems like it was on 3rd down after we'd played them well the first two downs.

And the O was really poor at first. I think we were really a little intimidated, and I don't think we would be a second time.

We killed ourselves with penalties in that game. Man, I'd love a rematch with them in Arizona.

We can easily beat the Patriots if we meat them again in the SB. I am more afraid of the Colts and the way they match up with us on both sides of the ball.

In the game against New England this year they controlled the clock. They had the ball for 38:15 while we had it for 21:45. Bad start. We also made the mistake of not running the ball enough. What exactly is wrong with running the ball 15 times for 100 yards and an average of 6.6 yards per carry!!

Then there is the blitz. Had we brought the run blitz on first or second down and and alternated the pass blitz with it we could have been more successful. So what if they score quickly. At the very least we move the time of possesion in our favor by running the ball.

One other thing I noticed is the New England receiver's do not like to run across the middle. They prefer to run the out pattern. Simply place our Db's to the outside and force them to run into our hard hitting safties. Tom Brady is very uncomfortable when he is throwing in the middle part of the field especailly when you bring pressure.

If you don't beleive me watch what the Ravens and Eagles did against them.

My opinion is we need to get back to doing what we do best. Run the ball to set up the pass which will create huge mismatches. This will hlep us lead in time of possesion, turnovers, and a defense which is not tiring at the end of the game. I almost feel like our coordinators are more concerned with what other teams do better than what we can do best.

Dude did you watch the Pats game? All their big plays came in the middle of he field. Welkers TD. The Stallworth TD. The Moss BS PI call on Watkins. The middle of the field is anything but their weakness.

And no offense, but what Cowboys have you been watching? We do the exact opposite. We pass to set up the run.

Good for Hatcher for pasting Brady in the mouth on the Moss non-catch. I'd forgotten about that.

You mean the plays which were set up by the outside pass?? These guys aren't afraid to go vertical. I am talking about forcing them to the inside on dink and dunk passes.

The question is do you understand that in football Team A will set up Team B for the passes you are talking about. Team B must force Team A to do something different then they like to do. Hope you understand.

Do some research. When our boys run the ball more than than 20 times per game we win, period. We NEED the run more than you may think. Check out Detroit, Philly, Pats, games if you want to. We have been trying to open up with the pass and failing miserably.

Dude it's not about research. And it's not about how many carries.

The point is we pass to set up the run. Just because we run the ball 20 times, has nothing to do with whether we run to set up the pass or vice versa. As the saying goes...Just watch the damn game.

And btw, Barber just got 110 on the ground and a touchdown on 22 carries. Failing miserably huh???

Let me ask you all how many freaking 3 and 7's did Brady make? Very frustrating that we couldnt get off the field. We can beat them but we need to score at least 31 points to do so.

We gave up near 50 points to Pats,

going to need to fix that to hope to beat them in rematch.
