Here is just the Cowboys info from the article.
4. Dallas Cowboys
Why they have regressed:
Cap-strapped to the point of suffocation, the Cowboys have seen too much talent walk out the door this offseason.

A Dallas defense that crumbled to pieces in 2013 will get a healthy Sean Lee back at linebacker, but Ware and Hatcher have moved on. Signing defensive tackle Henry Melton to a team-friendly dealhelps, but the Cowboys have depth issues at every level.

On offense, we don't make much of the Brandon Weeden signing and wouldn't be surprised if he's out of work come September, with Kyle Orton expected to return as the backup quarterback. In the backfield, the 'Boys remain a candidate to add Chris Johnson to complement DeMarco Murray in the backfield.

Recapping:
Key arrivals: Henry Melton and QB Brandon Weeden
Key losses: WR Miles Austin, C Phil Costa, DT Jason Hatcher, DE DeMarcus Ware

What's next

» Add receiver help, extend Dez Bryant: Coach Jason Garrett told Around The League in March that Bryant is "certainly the type of player" Dallas wants to keep around long-term. That's a no-brainer, despite Dez's lingering back issues. We'd also like to see the Cowboys add talent at the position after parting ways with Miles Austin.

» Defensive line help: There's no replacing Ware, but Dallas better add bodies along the defensive front. Melton at tackle helps a unit that allowed a whopping 128.5 yards per game on the ground last season, but there's little depth at end after George Selvie.

» Safety position still a mess: Dallas allowed a franchise-record 4,589 passing yards in 2013. Barry Church is a reliable fixture at safety, but young J.J. Wilcox struggled after suffering a knee injury. Jeff Heath, meanwhile, was toasted with regularity.

Not so sure I would have the Commanders above us FA wise. They spent a boatload more money than us of course, but did they do it effectively? Their defense is still subpar, and they overpaid on Hatcher to plug him in a position that isn't his strength in a defense that isn't his strength.

The DJAX signing to me isn't that beneficial to the team in my opinion. They SHOULD be a running based team, but they signed 2 playmakers at WR. I don't think DJAX will be so much of a happy camper if he doesn't get that ball as much. WAS would be such a better team if they stuck to 2 WR's and a power run game with a defense. Now they don't have such an identity.

NY has improved the secondary but the DL and offense is still a wreck.

PHI has regressed at the moment as well. Losing DJAX really changed the dynamic of that team without that field stretcher. I do not believe teams will lose to Riley and Maclin. Focus on 8 in the box against McCoy and the team will be average as well.

This is all based on free agency of course, draft can change things. I still believe we have the best offense in the league. We shall see of course though!

Author says Eagles are the team to beat in the East and then has them third. LOL. I don't think the number of free agents is a legit way to rank teams but whatever.

I posted it mainly because it summarizes the movement of players to and from the four teams. I don't have time to really follow that closely. I don't pay much attention to most of these guys rankings and prognostications but some do. It's reading fodder for those that thirst for any news of the Boys during the offseason . I tend to think they all will be better teams but that doesn't usually hold true for them all.

The on the field production of Ware from last 2 years can be replaced. What we will not have is a player as great as Ware was in his prime. Will Ware to return to that form possibly. But it was time to move on and start looking for a younger player.

Guys saying that Dallas let too much talent walk would be the same guys who, had Dallas kept Ware, Austin, etc, would be hammering on about how the Cowboys never let go of overpriced, aging names.

This.

Austin and Ware were faint images of their former selves; counting on them to produce at a high level in 2014 would be foolish given their decline over the last few years.

As far a big losses, Hatch was one statistically but, given the overall failure of the defense, his impact was minimal.

IMO, the Cowboys have neither declined or improved. That can change, of course, after the draft.

As time goes on, maybe I'm just telling myself that it's OK. But who cares about Ware and Hatcher? They have both been on underwhelming defenses since 2010. Clearly they weren't great enough to propel the defense to some power house. Why commit that much money to resources that aren't effectively making your team amazing.

That's true. We lost Ware 2 years ago when production started to freefall. Expect more of the same from DW in Colorado.

We haven't gotten any better, but it's asinine to say we've regressed.

The only good player we lost we replaced with a younger, cheaper, possibly (probable*) better model.

Oh yes, Costa and Austin were huge losses.

Wait, who were they again?

Oh you know.

The guy that played in 3 games over the last 2 seasons and was very easily replaced by a rookie. We're surely going to miss him

And don't forget about the guy that was outperformed by Cole Beasley.

LOL. That is the modern day blogger or ESPN writer. By the end of the article they forget the BS they made up earlier and just write what comes to mind, whether there is forethought or not. Haha
