I never have either. When I called to change my service, got a rude stupid rep, ended up cancelling it. Everythime I called back to get clarification on what I wanted to really do, same thing, got people only trying to get me to sign up for a 2 year deal, they did not want to correct the original issue.
They owed me a refund of $85. took over 6 months and a lot of calls to finally get it.
Eveytime I called, they started to go through the BS sales pitch and give me the run around crap.

I was a customer from 1997 to 2013. I would love to get NFL ST back, but on my terms, as when I first called but ended up cancelling, due to the rep insulting me.
My complaints did not matter.

Standard Directv BS........

I wonder if you live in a market where a team resides makes a difference because for me having no team in the state (Idaho) Directv customer service treat you like scumbags because they know they have you by the balls because you can't go to a game without having to travel 100's of miles. Well...that's my theory anyway.

I've done that the past two years. idk if it will work a third time.

It will work. It just depends on what you say and who you get. I've got a discount every time I called. I even got one this time, but it wasn't big enough for me. I kind of regret not taking it, but, at the same time, I made the choice not to take their offer.

I live in a state without a football team so I don't think that's it. Maybe they just don't like potatoes.

Update: I had cancelled Sunday Ticket because it was too expensive. The most I could get them down to originally was $195. I called today and basically told the customer service representative I spoke to that I cancelled because it was too costly, and I'm hearing from friends and people I chat with on sports forums that some customers are getting it for free or half price. (I should have said just free). Anyway, I told them I wanted it, but not at the price they were offering it. The customer service representative told me she can only offer me the going rate, which is more than I wanted to pay. Other departments can offer what's available for them to offer. I told her "Can you connect me with retention, please?" She did, and I spoke with a young lady who offered to reconnect me (I don't have to get a 2-year contract because I was already a customer) for $132. I should have pushed for free, but I didn't want to press my luck. I can handle $132. So I'm back as an NFL Sunday Ticket customer. Let the games begin!!!
