The speculation of Payton to Dallas is tasty.

If others can indulge the fantasy that Garrett is building something here, I should be allowed the fantasy of Payton coming here for Romo's final years.

Romo in the role of Princess Leia: "help me, Sean Payton, you're my only hope!"

To expound: the emperor(Jerry jones)

Romo: Years ago you served my father(Jerry jones) in the Head coaching Wars. Now he begs you to help him in his struggle against the Empire(himself and his son). I regret that I am unable to present my father's request to you in person, but my franchise has fallen under "self" attack, and I'm afraid my mission to bring you to Dallas has failed. I have placed information vital to the survival of the Tony Romo into the memory systems of this Galaxy note 5 android phone. This is our most desperate hour. Help me, Sean Payton. You're my only hope.

While RG3 is a great athlete he is missing some of the traits you need to play QB in thr NFL. His passing accuracy is poor and he seems to lack sufficient talent in this area, so coaching won't improve him.

In an era where the NFL is getting more pass orientated, I can't understand any team who brings in a passer without good passing skills. Remember that a QBs core job is to throw the ball. All these other athletic skills, no matter how great, can't make up for lack of passing talent.

Accuracy often come from poor mechanics. That is often what you see from guys who make so many plays with their feet. Mechanics become super important when you throw on the move.

I don't see how you can say mechanics can't be coached.

I'd prefer drafting the next starting Cowboys quarterback for the long term but as a number two for a few years, I'd take a chance on RG3 over Manziel any day...RG3 has talent and ability but I don't want Wade Wilson here to groom the next starting quarterback for this franchise, it's time for him to go

I also don't think Garrett is the one to be heading up any QB decision by draft or FA acquisition.

His taste in QB has been frofoundly flawed.

We need a new HC to be doing this.

his rookie season wasn't a fluke. He was playing very good before that injury. regardless whether he comes here or not I hope he gets it together. He's too talented not to.
