NFL to put these three classic Cowboys games on YouTube

FYI there are so many Cowboys games on YouTube, its hard to imagine not being able to find one you're looking for. Love it!

Harder to find whole games though, they get shut down every day. You will see even more when this kicks off.

I still can never understand why the NFL refuses to broadcast more games from history.

I wonder if their demographic research points out that young fans don't care and have limited attention spans.

Judging by the results for all teams, it is probably true.

Judging by the results for all teams, it is probably true.

There are a couple of reasons.

One is that they didn't keep a lot of the original TV masters of the games, and a number of them just aren't available.

Second is that the amount of time needed to digitize, re-edit and produce the content is not cost effective for them to do except on a targeted basis.

Great game. Nerve racking tho. We gave up 0 vs Det, 10 vs SF, and 16 vs Bal and lost the SB anyway.

pretty bad when your defense is that good and you cant win the SB or score more points.
Landry wasnt all that great on offensive game plans,

There are many games you wont find, even the nfl does not have all the games, cowboy or otherwise.
They dont even have all the SB games.
When I had game rewind, the SB archive had a lot of missing games, and was complete from 2000 up.
a lot of the you tube stuff isnt complete games.
Try to find 1993 season games !
I have all the 1992 games except game 14 and 15 wash and atlanta, and they are not on you tube, and the nfl rewind only has games
back to 2009.
So those games may not exist, unless someone has them on vhs in their attic.
I havent found any 93 games, and playoff games are hard to find also.
91 season I have found only 1 game , a eagle game

If they had they could be selling them now.
I would like to watch 1990-1996 cowboy games and would buy them, but no one has them, and if they do they are low quality slow speed
vhs recordings.
I have the 3 Dallas SB's from the 90's, I recorded them in SP or fast mode, 1 tape per half, and then put them on dvd with
dvd recorder. so I have those in nice quality.
But me and most others recorded most games in the slow speed, since they were 3 hours long or longer, so most are low quality.

That 1980 NFC Championship game against the Eagles is and will always be my catalyst for hating the Eagles more than any team on the planet. My then brother in law was from NY and a huge Eagles fan and it was miserable losing that game to them. I have hated the Eagles ever since and I continue to celebrate the day my sister divorced his sorry butt every since

A few years ago I put up most of the 91 and 93 season on ten yard torrents. I don't even know if that is still a thing, I haven't logged on in years.

Something that I would love to see them do is take the playoffs from a certain year, and play all of the game through the Super Bowl. It would be great to see all of those games.

Would love to see the Cowboys wipe out the Bears and Vikings again prior to beating the Broncos in Super Bowl XII.

I can't imagine the younger demographic cares about those dumb top 10 shows they play ad nauseum any more than watching an actual game. Who knows, it is baffling. Not that I have a choice in getting NFL network since I have dish. Not sure what's going on with that

I have just about all the games, of their wins, a few losses throughout the 90's on VHS. Plan to convert them but will take time. Will get to a few over the next month during the slow time off season.
Will see how the quality is.

I constantly wake up in the middle of the night...NFL network at night shows random games in full.

Sometimes the games are really good sometimes they are not.

I wish they would have picked these three instead (selfishly, I have all three of those games on DVD):

• 1968 NFC Divisional Playoff - Cowboys 52, Browns 14 - would have loved to see Meredith, Perkins and Hayes at their best.
• 1975 NFC Championship Game - Cowboys 37, Rams 7 - Staubach and the Doomsday Defense living large.
• 1991 Regular Season Week 11 - Cowboys 24, Rams 21 - this was the game that began the ascent of the Triplets - Aikman throws for 300 yards, Emmitt Smith caught 100 yards of passes, Irvin caught 2 touchdowns.

that was 90 the rams game. That is the game where the night before Troy Aikman was going to go to Jimmy's room and demand a trade but Laufenberg calmed aikman down and talked him through it. The next day he had a great game and the team made a push for the playoffs until the final two games when aikman was out.

I just watched that rams game not to long ago.
