Damnit I missed the first episode...
I would rather go to the dentist than re-live those early 2000's teams.
The sad part is, every year I'd look at the schedule and figure we should win 10 games. I even made the rookies 2002 highlight video following that 5 or 6 win season because I felt so good about the next season. We had such promising young players, so of course we'd be better.
Chad Hutchinson was giddy to be in pads after a 4 year absence. (Playing baseball)
It's good to see Jeffcoat pushing that Dline.
The Avezzano parlay into the Dallas Desperados playoff push was pretty cool too.
Jerry Jones Jr and Avezzano talking about unreal travel demands and Jerry simply saying "that's why they make planes" while shuffling between commitments on a private plane.
Colston Wetherington going against Andre Gurode in pass pro iso and getting owned by Gurode..lol.
Lots of cool stuff in the 1st episode.
Following the 2002 season, our rookies at the time:
DO NOT TURN UP THE VOLUME, THE MUSIC STARTS ABRUPTLY AS HE CATCHES THE BALL.
I really thought Derek Ross was going to be an outstanding CB... Antonio Bryant was going to be another Michael Irvin... Roy Williams looked like he'd redefine the safety position, he was Woody 2.0.
Within 2 years I'm not sure who was even in the league anymore, and anyone who was looked like a shell of the player I was expecting.
I really suck at evaluating players.
And sorry for the terrible quality, all caps came from VHS tapes that Rack sent me. There wasn't even anyplace to upload it then, youtube didn't come along for 3 more years.
That sounds about as cool as undergoing hypnotic regression and recalling being violated during an alien abduction.
OMG, I gotta get out of this thread. I'm having like really bad flashbacks to a time that I have worked diligently to forget.
At least it makes you really appreciate what we have going on now.
Sometimes I think there is more consternation now on the boards then there was back then. Well, if you ignored all of the QC vs Hutch threads back then.

I don't remember what happened to Ross. He was talented enough to hang around the league much longer than he did. Not sure if he had off-field issues or what.
Bryant went on to have a solid NFL career. 5500+ yards and 30 TDs.
