NFLN already downplaying us this morning

Turned on NFL network this morning and noticed in a spot on the Colts and Pats this morning that Mariucci was going on and on about how impressive the Colts were, and how they had a huge matchup with the Pats in a few weeks. Then he casually threw in at the end that (paraphrasing), "Oh, and the Pats have the Cowboys this week, don't they? That's the other unbeaten team." But then he went right back to pumping up the Colts vs. Pats game, even though it's several weeks away. Thought that was very odd.

The point isn't to cry about how we aren't respected by the media, but to say that this could be a good thing. Sunday afternoon, everyone was touting this great upcoming game of unbeaten teams, Pats vs. Cowboys. Now, after winning so ugly, they're just glossing over this weekend and assuming the Pats will win. Because we weren't impressive, it's almost like we lost.

Being an underdog at home could work out very well for us in the week leading up to this game, IMO.

I actually I could care less what deion sanders and steve mariucci say about our team.

WHat I do find ironic about this week is last night we were favorites on the road, the bills were the only ones who thought they could win. Everyone picked against them at home and they had to come out and play as dogs at hom on monday night.

Now in a strange role reversal, we are going to be the underdog at home, everyone is going to bash us this week, the media will all pick the pats and say romo stinks.........

I dont remember a two week swing like this. Being a dog at home this week is going to make this team and the crowd awesome.

The Patriots will not overlook the Cowboys. I guarantee Randy Moss will not overlook the Cowboys. The Cowboys will be the underdog.....and we will deserve it after this week's performance.

Hype or no hype doesn't matter to me this early in a season. Win or lose doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. A win against the Pats would be nice. I want one, but the season is a long way from being over.

There are still two games against Philly, two against the Skins and a trip to the Giants. Those games may not be as high profile as this early season match up of unbeaten team, but to me they are more important.

Dallas can beat the Pats, but if they then screw up the rest of the year it won't really matter. That happened last year when they beat the Colts.

Dallas can lose to the Pats and then learn something and go on to win the division and set themselves nicely for the post season and possible re-match with the Pats in the Superbowl.

Hopefully they do both and beat the Pats and learn from that to continued excellence the rest of the season and playoffs.

We could end up in the same position Buffalo was last night. Allegedly overmatched team at home with a great crowd behind them.

And then, when Brady tosses his sixth 4-INT performance, we can rejoice.

:hammer:

I really don't expect to go undefeated, we will lose some games. We first need to take care of business in our division. But I really think we will show up big against the Pats.

Yeah, there's no way the Pats overlook Dallas. They are too disciplined but it's nice to kinda have that bullseye off of our back as the high and mighty Cowboys now that the media isn't pimping us as much anymore.

I know this sounds crazy but if the pats win it might be better for this team. I just think NE is to good to beat twice. I'd rather beat them in Jan then next week.

People can hate you and do everything that can to disrespect you, but winning will shut them up. Thats where the sayings "Just shut up and win" comes from. It means don't worry about what everyone else is saying, just go out and prove them wrong. Your actions will speak much louder than any so called *experts* words.

Just shut up and win!

Well, last night, seemed like all the Bills fans were up waving towels all night long screaming their heads off. Not sure that will happen in Dallas, we have a tendency to be talking on our cell phones.

I just hope our crowd can match the enthusiasim of the Bills crowd. The Bills fans were great last night and helped keep the Bills pumped up. This typically is not a strong trait at Texas stadium

I love it. Let the criticism rain down. It sets up for a perfect weekend in Dallas. It will be so sweet.

At least we don't have to worry about our guys eating the cheese this week. The only thing Romo was eating last night was humble pie, while the rest of the team now knows just how much they can contribute, even when the most important player on their team was seemingly trying to give the game away.

LOL.

the 'boys home crowd is among the lamest in football. embarrasingly bad.

i had to turn down the sound on my tv last night as the BUF crowd was annoying me (credit to those fans -- wow!) with their noise.

I'd call that an exaggeration of reality in the highest order. The Bills' fans were great and earned respect by many who don't normally see Buffalo games, but come on - Texas Stadium can be pretty damn intimidating.

Case in point:
'05 vs. Chiefs game
'06 vs. Indianapolis game

I was at the 05 game against the Chiefs and it was crazy loud. The stadium was electric that day. I think it might be that way again Sunday if the Cowboys can keep it close.
