No link and limited details. He said on air the Cowboys have offered Murray a 4yr deal worth more than any FA RB received this year. No idea what that means in terms of dollars or if Murray likes the offer.

The big ticket guys were Ben tate and Chris Johnson, I believe. Their contracts weren't super unreasonable. Well, Johnson might've been since he's not near the same runner he was early in his career.

The biggest contract this offseason was 3 years 10.5 million. Last year was 4 years 16 million.

My guess is that they offered him 4 years 20 million.

He won't take that, and he will look to free agency, where some team will give him at least 8 million.

I would really like to tag and shop him. Don't want to give him a big long term deal but dont want to lose him for nothing. I think we could get a high second for him.

At the same a 4 year deal worth 24 isnt unreasonable for what he provides. Its easy to replace runners, but not as easy to replace a well rounded back

I wonder if it'll be a tough call for Murray. Hit the market and get as much as he can knowing there won't be another big contract after this one or stay with Dallas at a bit of a discount and have the opportunity to run behind a very young and talented oline.

Management should also realize that their will be 3 stud backs available In the upcoming draft, and we could have a shot a 2 of the 3.

Please let them. He is vastly overrated on this board.

I'm not sure how overrated he is. I'd like to see Williams and Randle getting some carries behind this line and seeing how productive they are before handing Murray a large contract.

If that were to happen it would be a sad day in Valley Ranch. They are NOT a dime a dozen and I don't care to find that out yet again the hard way...

If true Murray should sign....u don't even think he would consider banking on staying healthy

So what you're saying is that he'll be waiting to see what the skids offer before making his final decision?

I think the biggest factor in a running back's success is the offensive line.

I'd like to see if our success on the ground is more Murray or more the line. When healthy and given the opportunity he has almost always been a productive running back. I'd like to keep that for the right price.
