We could do a much better list.

I'll start it off.

1) Emmitt Smith - All time leading rusher at the most physically demanding position in the game. Got better when he hit 30, where other backs went downhill. The argument that the line made him better is nonsense, when he wasn't on the field, the team looked meh.

Every time this gets brought up it's extremely controversial.

R2A is probably just upset Austin isn't in the top 10.

This is discussing the video NFLn put up.

So what? It's the same list, only with annoying narrators superimposed over it.

not a bad list outside of Irvin being in the top 5 and Emmitt being too low. It was kind of nice to see someone recognize that Cowboys football was played prior to 1990.

Just bump everyone up one spot because of Landry. Technically speaking, coaching the Cowboys didn't make him a Cowboy. He was management.

I agree that Landry shouldn't be on the list, if he's on it where's Jimmy and Jerry? This is the greatest Cowboys not the most popular. BTW where was Too Tall?

IMO Danny White was a bridge between former greatness at QB and the future, nothing more.

I'm pretty sure he was posting about RANDY White. Not Danny, who was pretty damn good. You guys ever heard of Mr. Cowboy? Think he might deserve a mention as well.

as much as I like woody - he's probably my all-time favorite player - i'd have at least Larry Allen in there ahead of him. Also...he was a FS (at least to end his career)

Great list. I grew up watching Dorsett. In many ways I liked him more. But no Cowboys all-time great list can have him ahead of Emmitt. JMO

Lilly? It depends, Emmitt and Roger compete for #1 if you remove Landry from contention, then 3 and 4 between Troy and Michael IMO, and 5 Lilly.
