There's not a doubt in my mind about that. Buffalo was better than any Super Bowl team I've seen since basically the back to back Broncos teams. Since that time the teams look very watered down. It must be hard for some to grasp that given a nearly 19-0 season, but it's just the truth.

That Buffalo team just got caught in the wrong era. The Pats would have a hard time winning their own division if those Bills were around today.

This is off topic but has anyone hear ever had an Authentic Philly Cheese steak?

I've always wanted one.
I've never had one from Philly, but everytime I'm in Atlantic City, I have to go to the White House and get one from there...simply the best I've personally ever eaten...there's nothing down here in the DC area that comes even CLOSE!

I love the America's Game series. Seen close to thirty episodes and can honestly say I've enjoyed each one.

The player/coach interviews are fantastic. Obviously enjoyed all 5 Cowboy episodes with 1992 topping the list. Aikman, Irvin, and Norton were great. Loved Norton's take on what "How Bout Dem Cowboys" really meant.

Was really surprised how much I enjoyed some of the other episodes. 1983 Raiders with Todd Christiansen and 1967 Packers with Jerry Krammer were definetely worth watching.

Want to have some fun?
ASK AN EAGLES FAN WHICH AMERICA'S GAME EPISODE WAS HIS FAVORITE.:laugh2:
LMAO about the Eagles.

Anyway I loved 92 especially after they whipped the Eagles in the divisional round and then I think it was Jeffcoat and then Norton talking about the Dallas Cowboy defense and it being number one. Then Norton says 'Dallas Cowboy defense, unconscious'. Classic.

What surprised me about the 1992 America's Game Episode was no mention of either regular season game against the eagles. Any Cowboy fan at the time would agree they were our true nemesis.
The giants and skins had won the last two Superbowls, but we had held our own against them in 1990 and 1991.
It was those phucking eagles. That was the thorn in our side.

That week nine win over the eagles was HUGE! It was as big a regular season win as the franchise has had. Next to Candlestick, it was the most telling moment of 1992.

Agreed.

I remember reading after the 31-7 defeat by the Eagles, the Cowboys weren't even phased. They knew they were getting better and would be ready for the Eagles the next time they played them. They won in a grueling 20-10 game then blew the Eagles out 31-10. I remember Reggie White saying that Cowboys team was truly dominant, and it surprised the Eagles how good they became in such a short time.

I love the Michael Irvin segments. You could tell how much he wanted to win.

I think particularly telling were his comments to Jimmy Johnson right after Johnson got hired as the Cowboys coach. He talked about how he would cry after losses and guys would come up to them saying, "Don't worry. We get paid Tuesday."

Irvin pulls out his list and says, "This one has to gone, and this one. He's not committed to winning."

I loved that comment. That's all you need to know about Irvin and his passion to be the best and to be a champion.

My favorite parts, especially in the '92 one, were the very, very rare footage of '89 mini and training camps, as well as sideline footage/conversation during some of those '89 and '90 games, stuff you never see.

Additionally, I got a kick (no pun intended) of Irvin explaining his 1st touch down reception in the first Super Bowl against the Bills and why he kicked his leg out to try and block Nate Odomes from intercepting the ball (Irvin had broken off his out route too early according to him because he was so excited about being in the game).

One other thing I learned that I was not aware of previously was that Irvin had gone to Harper's WR position on that 4th quarter play in the NFC Championship where Harper ends up catching the slant/post for the long gain that essentially clinched it. He explained that that particular play called for a curl route by Harper's receiver spot and a post for Irvin's spot. All day Aikman had thrown to Harper running the curl on that play so Irvin said he wasn't going to let it happen again. However, the Niners come out in a blitz formation, Aikman reads it, and correctly ID's the slant/post as the hot route and throws to Harper, rest is history!

Couldn't agree more. It was really weird. Guess it wasn't your typical 24 point loss. We moved the ball well, just had too many turnovers.

I was confident for that week 9 rematch.
