Anyone see this on nfl network!!

that guy is awful. No wonder aikman breaks his chops all the time.

To anyone who didnt see the video, pereria says it was a penalty and he used the ball as a prop but we didnt see it....

that is just laughable!!

anyway. No big deal its only the most critical moment of the most critical game of the year....!!!! Too Funny. they could not have used those 15 yards anyway....

good thing it is a game of inches.

go to www.nfl.com its on the main page

They didnt see it? lol

Ok.

As far as they were concerned their minds were on officiating the rest of the game only for the Cards only.

Didn't one of the zebras catch the ball on the way down, after the "celebration"?

I think they really just didn't catch it. It wasn't immediately afterwards and they turned their attention away. Of course, that's an error as well. They really should be paying attention, in the big game, right? The zebras have really been caught out on a number of high profile season changing screw ups. Whatever they are doing to deal with it, it isn't enough.....

Me, I'd rather see stupid celebration penalties not called in such a big game.

If you guys get a chance check out some steeler message boards they are crying that people are saying the refs messed this game up...

Ravens cowboys packer seatlle bears Giants message boards are all saying the EXACT same thing...

If it smell like poop it usually is poop....

all i am going to say is...

only two of the 43 superbowls that I can remember have people said the refs really favored a team on critical penalties..

SB XL and XLIII and Pittsburgh played in both.

i didn't hear anything from last years game or the indy bear game the year before funny when they steeler play you get the bad calls...

Rooney on the NFL compition commettee...

just saying... if everyone else is cathing on....

You ever watch a referee "watch" TO after he scores. Literally look for "it".

The steelers had the most ridiculously lopsided season as far as questionable calls that went their way. Hopefully we can get some accountability in officiating once Pereria retires.

The explanation of, "we were setting up for the extra point" doesn't make sense, because there are always two officials standing directly under the uprights for an extra point.

Whoever was responsible for the back of the end zone had no reason to leave that area, and would have seen everything. Besides, one of the officials has to retrieve the ball to "set up" for the extra point anyway. Whoever's job that is would have been watching the ball the whole time, and would have gone over to Holmes to get the ball.

Like I said, I could swear that an official caught the ball right out of the air. And he says nobody saw it?

Everyone knew it should have been a penalty and it sucks it wasn't called but oh well. Arizona still had their shot and the fact of the matter is all their defense had to do was come up with a play in the final 2 minutes and this point wouldn't even be a point of discussion cause there wouldn't have been a Steelers TD to be celebrating anyway.

I think the even bigger crime was not reviewing and overturning Kurt Warner's fumble to end the game. How do the refs not stop the game there and review it. I know it's a booth review at that point, but c'mon.

Yeah, I thought that was BS.

It completely ruins the purpose of having the head official review plays if a guy upstairs is going to be the man deciding on whether or not it gets reviewed.

That play was far too close to just say it was one way or the other without taking a second look.

And also, I don't hear anyone complaining about the refs missing a penalty on Warner when he took his helmet off.

Sure. But look at other sports that have great post seasons. They use various rules to establish behavior over the course of the season but let a ton of stuff go when it really matters. Take hockey for example - the refs leave their whistles in their pockets over ticky tacky crap. B-ball as well. Them rules are for cleaning stuff up during the season, not for 1 minute left in the SB.
