I think Oregon and Washington were set to use them last year but several players complained about fit issues. Hopefully they worked out the kinks.

From an aesthetic standpoint, that looks pretty good.

Like something I would have expected players to wear in the 2000s.

Now they just need the rocket shoes

They should just get rid of the helmet...maybe people would stop using their heads as a battering rams, and would start tackling correctly.

I am not a doctor...just an observation that may be off base.

No such thing as a safe helmet. Helmets don't stop the brain from impacting the skull.

Yep, make the helmets out of a foam and just big enough for the logo and a face mask to fit and players won't feel the need to use their head as a weapon lol

I am not a doctor...just an observation that may be off base.

Get rid of the facemask and go back to soft helmets and you'll see concussions go down. You'd see more messed up noses, but a whole lot better tackling form.

They will never stop wearing a helmet. It shows the logo of the team (except the Browns, of course)
which is the best way to market the team.
