Hey all

Going to Toronto and I want to go to the canada side of the falls.

Recommend any restaurants with great view of the falls?
Any other attractions that are "must do/see"

Thanks :)

I was there last month. Bring lots of money, more than you think. Prices and taxes are crazy on the Canadian side.

Oh BTW look for Fallsview Blvd. I think thats the name of it. It's like a mini Vegas strip (Way mini) and is beautiful at night. Stores, theatres, games

If you like losing money, you'll lose more of it at Casino Niagara than you would betting on the Giants.

The restaurant with the best view of the falls is the surprisingly named Fallsview in the Sheraton Hotel. A little expensive but the food is ok and they do a decent lunch buffet. There's a bunch of decent restaurants in town: http://www.urbanspoon.com/n/242/46294/Ontario/Niagara-Falls-restaurants. The pho is so nummy at Pho Xyclo. Savoury and Sweet does a mean schnitzel, and their french onion soup rocks.

Try the Niagara Skywheel - you get really great views of the Falls on a Ferris wheel-type dealie. Of course if you want to get up close and personal with the falls, sign up for the Maid of the Mist boat thing which'll take you right up to them.

If you have kids, take them to the Nightmares Fear Factory. It's scary cheesy fun, and for more creepiness check out the wax museum. Lots of other things to do like the Bird Kingdom and Whitewater Walk etc. I'd recommend going on Street View and "driving" around the city getting to know the layout and where all the good stuff is so you can prep an itinerary before you get there.

There are casual restaurants that sold burgers for no less than $18. We walked out and went to a cafeteria style place, got 3 burgers and drinks and it cost us $32 and they added $8 in tax. I also bought a milkshake for $6 and it was like a full $1.50 in tax. That's ridiculous

I just got back from Toronto a month ago. Awesome city. I reccommend Nami, a Japanese restaurant in Toronto, if you like Japanese food. It is real Japanese by Japanese chefs. I went there two consecutive nights. My wife who is Japanese was impressed. Some of the best Japanese food I have had, equal or better than a lot of Japanese food you even get in Japan.

Clifton Hill is where the wax museums, Sky Wheel, miniature golf, bowling alley/arcade are. Also it has the Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum that is pretty cool.
