The last time Eli Manning was held to 213 yards passing... Week 14 in 2010. His passing rating was still high because of his touchdown with no interceptions, but as soon as we pick a ball of that should change our defensive stats tremendously.

I think that is a huge indicator as to how good our secondary played. People can say that Cruz had a bad game, or that Nicks wasn't 100%, but we didn't have Jenkins and we didn't have Ratliff...

You play with who you have, and they played well in their first game as Dallas Cowboys. And Church's first game as a starter.

Eli Manning is no scrub, especially with Cruz and Nicks in the offense, he's very hard to stop.

However some people on CZ will tell you that the secondary wasn't impressive Wednesday night and I just don't see how you could think that after the year that Manning had.

Feels like a straw man. Who is saying that? Maybe I'm not looking closely, but I haven't seen anyone who said that they weren't relieved/impressed/happy with the secondary performance.

They did that with 3 players making their first start. Imagine that.

People will always talk. The the issue

"Church will never be starter!!!!!" Now he's a starter doing good.....they are Fans.

"We won't win this game!!!"....now we won...all of a sudden they feel confident.

Nobody on here are experts. Just a bunch of out of shape men, watching from their house passing on critique.

It's hard to stop Eli.....Hes a top 5 QB....so for us to at least contain him, speaks volume.

I won't say we are great yet, but we have improved. Last year manning was able to hit his first or second read. This year he can't or couldn't. If he does, it's a highly contested pass.

I've heard at least one player at least was horrendous and pitiful. It really opened my eyes.

Secondary looks better but i wont be sold on this team until about week 5-6. I got overly amped up after beating the giants.
