Watch the draft...I get a few nights out of the year to do exactly what I want. This is one of them. She gets me for the other 355-60 days of the year where I am not doing one of MY things. She gets way more "hall passes" than I do.

Draft as it happens once a year. If for some reason we could only go on a date once a year, I'd take the date.

They make me angry. They are soooooo sloooooow in my neck of the woods. Even making a simple milkshake or blizzard. Sometimes I think they are in the back milking the cow when you order. Oh and don't ever order a hamburger or the like in the drive through around here...you might be sitting for an hour lol.

My daughter has a band concert Thursday night. It'll be the first time I'm not watching the start of the draft live in probably 25 years. Told my wife to not let me take my phone with me .

Go out with fiancee. The best part of the draft is the season leading up to it (speculation, mocks, rumors, etc.). The draft itself is usually pretty lame.

Nowadays it shouldn't even be an issue with technology. Like another guy said, dvr it....plus most of us can check up on things with our phones if we can't wait.
