No NFL team has allowed fewer rushing yards through the first four games than Green Bay, which has limited opponents to a mere 171 rushing yards on 86 carries (1.99 yards per attempt).

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, that is the second-fewest rushing yards allowed by a team through four games since the NFL began compiling individual stats in 1933.

171 yards allowed in 4 games. An average of less than 43 yards/game. Less than 2 yards per carry.

With that said however, I think that yardage allowed will nearly double after they face us.

Biggest challenge in this game is our Tackles containing Blondie, and Aaron Rogers.

I know I should know better, but I have a hard time taking this version of the Packers all that seriously. They're obviously a good team, but with Rodgers merely human and their strength reportedly in the DL, this seems like a game we can win. In fact, I'm a bit perplexed that we started out 5.5 point road dogs in the first place. Anybody who's followed them closer than I have able to educate me as to why they're favorites?

Is this your roundabout way of figuring out if we have Packers fans posing as Cowboys fans on this board?

Yep, saw that stat yesterday for the cheeseheads.

Every teams' run defense will be measured when playing against us.

And for me I think we should expose teams that do try to stop it like we did this past Sunday.

My biggest fear is they go back in the predictable shel that they are known for.

Leave percy alone. :)

No, what it really was is a friend of mine sent me this yesterday:

And I was like 'where do these guys get off being so cocky about this game?' If I were a Packers fan, I'd be worried about a road team that travels as well as we do bringing in the specific offensive we're bringing up. I get that they're a good team, and that they have that home field advantage (though less so in October), but they haven't been a pretty ho-hum 3-1 so far this season. And as we're seeing here in this thread, there's no guarantee they're going to be able to stop our offense. We can hurt teams a number of different ways.

Packers haven't really played anyone that can run the football.

I think the Cowboys can run on them.
Agreed. Literally in ALL 4 of their games the other team's lead back was out (qualifier being AP went out in 3rd quarter). They haven't had to face a back of Alfred Morris's caliber this year let alone Zeke. Moreover, teams have had a good amount of success throwing the ball against them (Vikings and Jags for example) and had Eli been even remotely on target last game they would've been shredded through the air. I think we are going to put serious stress on them to try and stop our diversified attack. They're going to see a back that his way beyond anything they've had to deal with thus far and, with Dez back, they will likely get exposed majorly in passing game as well. The Boys are gonna be a problem!!!

I recall Cincy expecting to have an easy W Sunday. Good thing we play the game first.

I am more worried about we will probably have Bucky Joe and Troy as the announcers than I am the GB rush defense.
well we did win with those jokers calling the SF game, but yeah Buck / Troy called games make me nervous
