no real story lines..
I live in Pittsburgh and it wasn't like the steeler had a game sunday...
something is missing this season...
Maybe no Brady ?
NO Pats?
NO cowboys?
No real dominate team?
with out question this is the most watered down weakest season in memory.
anyone else from around the county feel the same?
YoMick;2574029 said:We have seen Warner play flat out awful... just taking snaps from under center was a problem. He has not particular area where he likes to fumble the ball. Under center, pulling away from center, Romo style etc.... etc...
Yeah Philly has two advantages.
You mention both:
- Better/more pressure
- Better DB's
Doomsday101;2574045 said:I agree and we have seen Warner play to a high level as well. He is very capable of going out this weekend and putting up a big day on Philly.
Other than that Mrs Lincoln how did you like the play? If I have to tell you it is sarcasm it looses it panache.Shinywalrus;2573549 said:Get a grip.
The points being made are valid. Wait for the ratings for this year's Super Bowl. They will be awful. And I guarantee it won't be just narcissistic Cowboy fans responsible.
And if you're not railing against the argument that "there is no buzz", which is almost certainly going to prove unequivocally correct, are you then railing against Cowboys fans who have less interest in the playoffs because the Cowboys aren't in them? Really? You're really going to get on people who are less interested in something when they have less of a vested interest in it?
So...in other words, you fail to see how anyone else could think like anything but yourself...and then you have the nerve to call THEM narcissistic.
Seriously, you've made my day over here. Thanks for that.
YoMick;2573817 said:Thats the thing. The Eagles will focus on Warner BIG TIME.
They know that they can get him to put the ball on the ground 4-5 if they pressure hard enough.
They can.
They will.

I knew it.
I completely agree. Maybe I just like football too much.Maikeru-sama;2573577 said:More bitterness from folks that can't get past the fact that our team didn't make the Playoffs.
The 2008 Playoffs have been excellent and there have been some great games already.
To quote Keith Jackson, The Baltimore vs Pittsburgh is going to be a dandy. Its going to be cold, maybe some snow and you have too pretty physical football teams that can't stand each other based on what happened in their previous meeting.
I think the Philadelphia and Arizona game is going to be very good as well.
YoMick;2574467 said:HA!
I have already posted and many have seen it already.
IF the Eagles win the SB I wont post here for the entire 2009 season.
So I really dont believe they have a chance IF they get past the Cards.
The more things change... the more they stay the same.
